6600GT at 28000 in 3dmark2001

I've never in my life had to change the gpu MHz and gpu core voltage so much on a chip within a run to stop it getting too hot .. stupid 0.11 micron process without low k, this does not bode well for overclocking the X800XL unless cooled with water or phase.

Although this will get zapped pretty quick by people not using only air and using SLi at least I was there first.

How close was I to the limit ? It took me a week and here's a picture of dragothic on an average run. That pixel is upsetting all my green triangles ;)

Here's getting zapped by a card at almost default stock values but with Sli and Conroe that is just strolling along.

zak zaps zak by 18 000 points ..how times change. This was very boring in comparison though :( The lightening storm outside was pretty interesting though.

Lets hope some volt mods help the Infinineon memory.

Wow, very impressive! Just as I saw this thread, I was thinking about how nice it would be to see a 6600GT paired with a Conroe, and what do you know, you delivered just that. :p:

I have a very soft spot in my heart for any sort of "legacy" benching...dying to pair a 9700 Pro (yes, you read right) with a Conroe myself. :p:
