big thanks , waiting for my new 6800u ;)
Thank you for your guide! I think the "force my cards to run at 3D speed all the time to bypass throttling" is the best tip ever :)Quote:

Anyone know if you can flash other 6800's with Asus bios to avoid the throttle issue?
Powered by a generic power unit each. Just shorted the green and black for each, the cards' power turn on before the PC. Need to get new/mod the units, 12v at 11.4v :(
I havent heard of any throttling issues with the PCIE cards, maybe they're not existant?
Got the 6800 cards to do the 608/1408 Dance!
Thats 704Mhz of DDR2 goodness :D
Closing in on 29K with the good and very old NewCastle 3800+

Think the SLI takes up quite a bit of system power. My GT1 scores is significantly higher with 1 card than with 2 cards, over 10 fps of difference.

Have you compared scores between 1 card and 2 Misteroadster? Did you experience this?
13K on 05 still a long distance away though...
woah nice... i thought you already pasted 30k for 3d2k3 ?
:toast:
That an excellent memory MHz, am I right in that with 2 gpu's needing feeding bandwidth memory speed has once again become as important as gpu speed ?
Regards
Andy
