BTW, excaliber has amazing cust service. How many places will tell you what dates come on the ics. She checked a bunch of gskill packs for dates and had some from 437. Although I ended up going with the OCZ! Support ocz and excaliber! They are great!
atacom.com has it too. you need to call.
Are those g.skills the pc4400 @ 2.5-3-3-7?

Ocz is paying a lot of money so somebody can test the best Tccd before it gets to the end user. The tccd for the 4200 platinum is coming from their HIGHEST speed bin. so you are guaranteed to have some fast fvcking memory! If you buy the gskill or other TCCD, you are taking a risk. It may be good, but it may be bad also. just because it's tccd doesn't mean it's good. Even the dates don't seem to matter anymore. 431 vs 437 vs 440, useless imo. Tccd seems to be very inconsistent and it's nice to know that ocz saved us a lot of money on rma's by doing the work for us. so yeah, $350 is a lot for ram , but it's worth every dime if I'm guaranteed to get some really Good-$h!t! Oh, and as for the 4200 vs. 4400 comparison, OCZ is very conservative when it comes to rating their mem speeds.Quote:

I want some of this memory! Only problem is... I'm the in the UK! Doh!...
Might have to order some directly from the US!...
im also having a simliar dilemma with brand name only id be purchasing the 3200' ocz's. all this talk about the worst dimms going to the 3200's is shying me away towards gskill. i think the one thing that is holding me back from getting the gskill dimms is that i'd have to be getting 2x256 dimms and i i hear theres a compatibility problem with my motherboard (dfi), also that 2 dimms performs worse than 1 dimm which is what id be getting wtih the plats.Quote:

Being that this is a new release, is it correct to assume these are on the "brainpower" pcb?
OK ryan, lets see that ddr booster in action.Quote:

I know it DudeMiester. I need 'em now so I don't really feel bad, just playing. :toast: I am hoping they cooperate enough to live up to the $60+ premium though.
any dual channel bench's with these yet??
I posted one earlier on at 2-3-3 275 on the 875 chipset
do you guys at ocz have a 939 testbed?Quote:

that is some good stuff, is that guaranteed 266fsb? what if the motherboard has no volt adjustments or only goes up to 2.7v? what if it wont do that fsb in your rig, be it an a64, xp or p4? is a rma in place even though it could be your cpu or mobo not going this high? how high can one expect from those while keeping the ras-cas3 timing? 4's suck!
What if it does 2.5-3-3-6 1T @ 325mhz with 3.4v 2x512? (screenies coming soon)Quote:
