Looking forward to the results. I think it is about 11pm in California at the moment so I guess you are mid bench.Quote:

There's also atleast one Retail FX-55 in Finland now ;)
Wonder what scores it will get. ;)
Good luck OPP, Macci, Charlie and whoever else has a fx55 or other wonder chip paired with a good clocking x800xt(matters for nature, 330+ helps) ;) I still wonder if I am right when I say itll be 6 months before anyone can break 42k?
Good luck.Quote:

At this rate there will be 2 FX-55's in Finland as mine pays a visit  :D
After 13 years of making machines this is the first time I have ever bought the top of the range processor and so you can imagine how excited and impatient I am.
It better overclock well after all this, or else it will be revisiting Belgium , Holland and then Norway in short succession !

Andy
Excellent work :toast: :toast:
Now just get pcmark too and you own the orb :p: ;)
Andy, you bought a fx55? How much did that cost? $850? Your gonna break alot of 3dmark records with that, what video cards do you have? Might wanna get another ti4200 and break 22k :D

It has arrived at home my wife tells me, I'm starting to feel ill already and might have to leave early.
At present I have 6800nu, FX 5800, FX 5600U, FX5200U, gf4 4400, MX440 still going strong or partly going ;the GF4 4800SE, the Ati 9800 Pro and the 5700U having given way to overclocking stress and are sadly departed.
I'm looking forward to trying to break 25k with the 5800 and I have always been fond of the GF4400 so those are the main aims, along with following XS colleague Kunaak past 30k on air with a 6800nu .. 30k on air with a 6800nu is pretty good going if I can do it. Will be interesting to see shat it will do on air cooling, I am a bit unlucky with AMD in the past so hopefully it will overclock OK.
But really I have bought this cpu for the nforce 4 boards and 6200 / 6600 / 6700 cards in the next year. I am pensioning off my AGP cards and going PCIe as a new 2005 adventure.
Wish me bon voyage. :)
God I wish I had a beer, I just can't bench sober and need to get into the swing of things.
I'm looking forward to macci and Opps results, this is like Goliath v Goliath, Ali v Ali, Kasparov v Kasporov, er, well you get my drift....

Andy
GF4: 6 Months for 42000?? You dont think the FX-55 or the 1066Mhz FSB P4 EE can bring another 950 points??? Isnt there a new CPU from intel and AMD Q1 2005???
I saw a test with the 3.46Ghz EE(1066FSB) where it with a Intel stock heatsink and no modds did 266->310 FSB with default Vcore... So who knows what will happen under
And couldnt that X800XT reach 801/666?? Or is it 100% system bottleneck???

Use bablefish italian->english http://babelfish.altavista.com/
Edit: Andy its more like 118X since the dollar took a dive and is now lower than ever... Darn its plunging that little dollar... Soon it'll be like the danish kr :P (Now its 5.7 kr/dollar..)
I dont think that a FX-53 system can take out 2x4Ghz Xeon ;)Quote:

Btw the same guy is on top 4 :D Hehe... Multiple scores and otherwise mr. tweak.dk is also up there ;)
And as we know PCmark also likes dual CPU systems...
I dont think a FX53 can take 1st place...
If I could be American and get their prices I would vote for Kerry and Bush !Quote:

Mini - You cant compare taxes, they have alot of advantages that we in DK dont have. And we aswell to them..
I kinda like welfare, how about my other scandinavian friends here :D
Grats again OPP, you rule.
Andy,
Just saw your CPU going by on it's way from Amsterdam to Brussel. :D
I waved it goodbye, hoping it will show you some nice numbers.
GL ;)
why didnt you use s939 for 03 and 05 as well?
Didnt the vc overclock as well on s939 as on p4?
Thanks Zeus, appreciated !Quote:

Hehe, competition is always a good thing. ;)
Now cranck that baby up Andy, she sure looks sweet, week40 :slobber:
Good luck man, really hope this one will last a few weeks longer than your former A64 CPU's. :)
