So far my max bclk appears to be around 115 using PCIe 16x/Promontory Gen1.
My current voltage settings are:
vcore 1.35v LLC Level 1 (using 3200 speed for 3680 MHz; not really pushing CPU speed right now)
SoC 1.2v LLC Level 3
vDIMM 1.45v VTT .730v
2.50_V PROM 2.700v
+1.8v voltage 1.700v (have also tried 2.000v with no better luck)
VDDP 1.2v
1.05V PROM_Voltage 1.100v
That boots and operates just fine with auto memory timings and "default" CPU speed (which is 3200 * bclk once you use bclk OC beyond a certain point; note that adjusting bclk automatically changes PCIe settings to Gen2 so you have to manually switch them back to Gen1 before reboot)
Anyway any higher bclk (tried 120, 125, 130) locks the system with an E5 boot code.

115 bclk DDR4-3200 setting (~DDR4-3680) will not post regardless of timings
113 bclk DDR3-3200 setting (DDR4-3616) will post with timings as low as 14-14-14-32 but it appears the data fabric is unstable. Relaxing memory timings does not improve the situation much, so the RAM seems to be capable of these speeds (it is binned for 3733 so it ought to). Increasing SoC voltage to 1.2v does not seem to have helped the situation much. I can get stuff like CinebenchR15 and Prime95 SmallFFTs to run, but Prime95 Blend and y-cruncher are still completely unstable, as is SuperPi. I can get y-cruncher single-threaded to run a little, but for the most part it just does not want to "go". I managed to complete 14% of the calculations before it bombed out in single-thread mode. Multithread just bombs out instantly.

The pci e was a non issue on asus i just ref clock and boot.
Even on 1002 or whatever previous public was all my saved profiles just booted. All were made preety much the same way...baby steps.
As i stands right now i would lean more towards ch6 for benching...the taichi would make a killer daily though.
As bios matures my opinion may change....but for now on current available agesa and hardware...those are my opinions.
Honestly have not really bothered with 3600 much...i know my pc 3200 sticks are weak so not much point.

I think for now I will set aside the bclk OC and wait for more UEFI updates, particularly in May when AMD may open up more memory ratios. I'm not 100% sure if it's my RAM or the infinity fabric that's causing me headaches, but it's clear that I can't push the sticks to their rated speed this way. Hitting DDR4-3200 via ratios is simple enough, so I'll stick to that for now.
The Taichi does seem to be a good board. One could certainly do a lot worse.

I think for daily 3600 is just pushing to hard. I saw instant issues over 3400.
I kinda like the dual rank at 3200 though with ref clock on the lower divider and 3d is working perfectly on fury x like this..

The only board i'm interested won't be available in my country any time soon, or so it seems :(
Tried searching a bit in "the country next door" and managed to find it but not @ a reasonable price: 355€ is WAY over the top. The board costs $200 in the states so i was expecting around 260€ or close to that (after taxes): 355€ is way WAY too much :(
Until i find it @ a more reasonable price, my AM4 upgrade is on the back burner :(

Any opinions on the Gigabyte Aorus GA-AX370 Gaming K5?
Looking to pair with a 1700 or 1700X and maybe OC to 3.8-4.0GHz that will run World Community Grid 24/7 at that OC. I also need 8 or 10 SATA connections to run 1xSSD, 5xHDD and 2xOptical drives. But price needs to be budget, in the mid $100 range.
So that looks like it's this board or the ASUS Prime X370-Pro. But the ASUS has a LAN that doesn't have Windows 7 drivers where the K5 does.

Any opinions on the Asrock AB350 Gaming K4? running it with a 1700 here (or will be soon...just got the board and CPU last week)

The X370 K4 isn't bad so far. Lots of options and good bios support. Even here, the VRM area gets hot though.
