Are they always expected to overclock better? Most if not all retailers in where I am at dont really stock a lot of CPU's so its really a luck of the draw if I get a Costa Rica or Malaysia made CPU.Quote:

looks like L310... and L311... are the best.
I have a 4770k L312, 4800 in windows, but don't benchmark whith it.
I change thermal past to IHS, now is better but not to much ......

The temperatures are not very high, but I can not up more the cpu frecuency, i don't know how. I have msi mpower max. You know some guide?? how to set this bios?? :(

OK, I tried 4.8Ghz @ 1.26, 1.27, and 1.28v and they all blue screened. I'm now at 1.30v and so far so good, but it's only been a few minutes. Temps are in the mid-80's. It seems like 76c should be the highest the 4770k should go before it could damage it. True? I may delid the chip.

Would not enter windows at 5.0 on water even with 1.51v.core lol , it struggles to make to be 4.8 stable.
Tested later on Cascade @ -115c idle for max Mhz Validation , Very Bad cpu it maxed out at 5.7 running only One core active , and one stick of memory low Mhz , not a single Mhz more out of it lol Hit the wall at 5700. Avoid this Batch like a plague .... Lemon Batch and CPU.
I'm using an Asus Sabertooth Z87 and an H110 for the cooling. Hero does look pretty sweet. I was going to get the Hero, but they didn't have it in stock, so I snagged the Sabertooth instead. pretty much the same board, IMHO.Quote:
