Cecil great results i have my 16GB on the way
cheers !

I have no use for my 2x4gb 1866 kit I'm sticking to the Sammys.
I'll be posting a FS in a day or so...
It is D9PFJ.
I just received a couple of kits of this stuff from the egg today.

I decided to try to play the value ram game and see what ICs they were sporting...received D9PFJ on both kits.
Phone was used for the pic, so quality is, well, lacking, but you can make it out.
I will not be able to test them for a couple of days, but will post as soon as I can.
They are probably in stock at places like MC or CompUSA and you can see the ICs thru the front of the package. They are the Low Voltage (1.35v) variant with CL11.
Maybe like the Samsung low profile sticks, these will also be gems in the rough.
If I wasnt so addicted to the blinky tracers, Id probably pick them up lol. I want to get another set, but its like $90 for the smart tracer 1866 kit from Crucial.
They're not listed on the crucial UK site yet, only the old 1.5v version. Wonder if theyll release these in 8gb sticks as a cheaper option to the Ballistix kit?
It'd be good to know if the Ballistix 12800 8-8-8-24 kits are the same generation chips as well. The 8gb x 2 c8 1600mhz kit is considerably cheaper than the c9 1866mhz kit.

Almost 2400Mhz validation.
They dont like CR=1T,need to run them at 2T indeed .
They also dont like cas 6 (not 666,676,767,776,... lowest is 777)
tRFC lower than 160 only possible when running below 1800mhz .
My experience is with 4x4gb sticks only . clocking 4 sticks is harder than i thought , i have to tell you that ...
sticks run very cool though . at 2000mhzrunning memtest they get only 44 degr C .
I have one stick which has a cooling plate removed on one side and the chips are all cool .
Does someone know how i can know which pair ofmemory belongs together ? I scrambled the kits while installing them . :)
I'm still busy trying to find the fastest combination of settings for my system . But so far it looks like its not going to be 2200mhz with slow timings , but 1600mhz with tight timings . This was also the fastest with my elpidia hyper sticks .
Maybe intel prefers higher megahurtz , but amd/thuban doesnt .
With two sticks, I was able to get 1T up to 2000Mhz 8-8-8-24.
Memtest stable? What voltage did you use?
From my testing it was *kinda* stable at 1960 same settings and voltage (1.65V), but 1T.
Every 1MHz HTRef up, required one step higher voltage. So, for 2000 1T I'd need around 1.72V or higher.
Can run 2000 8-8-8-24 1T 1.65V, but it's not memtest stable.
I spent a couple hours running different 3dmarks, pcmarks, heaven, and a Spi1m at 2088Mhz 8-8-8-24-47-1T with 1.675Vdimm, and can do 2000 8-8-8-24-47-1T with 1.65V no problem. I havent had time for Prime or Spi32m yet though. Im going to re-do my daily OC to be around 2000 ish so I can be at 8-8-8 and 1T instead of 2200 9-9-9 and 2T.
@Cecil - Nice results.
Your CPU is extremely strong as well. In fact I wouldn't mind buying it off of you for subzero benching whenever/if you decide to let it go. ;D
These turn out to be the fastest settings for my system (Asus CHIV , Thuban X6 1090T , 4x4gb crucial ballistics) .
1600mhz 7-7-7-15-22 @1.55V Stability :
Attachment 124478
1600mhz 7-7-7-15-22 @ 1.55V bench overview :
Attachment 124480
Notice he is running tRC = 47 , while the highest tRC on our board is 41 .. maybe this is improving 1T stability for him .
I can run even with 4 sticks 2200mhz , or 2133mhz spi32 , but fire up prime or memtest and it will fail soon .
So whatever you call stability of course ;)
Always run that bench after a fresh boot . Once the memory has been used it seems the numbers drop a lot .
Just got the 8GB Tactical Tracer 1600 CL8 1.5v kit today. I think it has the same chip as the Tactical Elite.
I managed to get in to Windows at 2133 but got errors in Memtest right after hitting start testing button. Here's the MemTweakIt at 2133. Only primary timings are adjusted. The rest are on Auto. Voltage is set at 1.65v

Looks like these Crucials just don't get along with Asus P67 very well. :(
Really good RAM. Running 3 kits 1866 Ballastix Tracer on my X58A-UD7 @ 1600 7-7-7-24 1,58v.
1866 @ 8-8-8-24 seems to be difficult though.
