the ripjawsz 2400 cl9-11 or the tridentx 2600c10 or tridentx 2666cl11
the ripjawsz 2400 cl9-11 or the tridentx 2600c10 or tridentx 2666cl11
and 4x2GB (or 2x2GB)?
thanks :)
they are all 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 , 4gb modules.
finding 2x2 is not easy anymore but best on x79 is psc like PIS series, some old trident stuff, some ripjaws 16000 and the latest is ripjawsz 2400 8-11 or ripjawsx 2200 7-11-7
if tRP is same as Cas so probabily they are good PSC , if tRP is higher they are hynix or bad psc.
you can go with some bbse kit too like 2133 8-9-8
This MB sets in Auto VTT 1,370 and VCCSA almost at 1,4V  It's when I choose DDR2400 MHz (10-11-11-30-1T @ 1,65V). VCORE ~1.45(6), 4.9 GHz, BCLK 100. I've got Geil Evo Two GET316GB2400C10QC (4x4 GB).
Don't you think it's too much? I can only say, that with VTT 1,3V and VCCSA 1,35V system unstable during Prime95 (Blend). Only at Auto (so high voltages) I was able to run Prime95 Blend for more than 15 hs (after that I stopped the test). I have not tried intermediate voltages.
But in X.M.P. I see 2T and I like 1T so set it.
Is what the Dominator GT 2000 8-9-8 (CMT) with PSC ICs normally, are stable at 2400 C8 and 1.65v on X79 (Asus RIVE)
I saw on another topic that was stable but on S1156, I believe
Thanks ;)
I don't think so.
I have this Dominator GT 2000 7-8-7 (CMG) Elpida Hypers that can run 3DMark Vantage at 2400 9-10-9-28 but only with 1,78v+. And they are not Pi 32M stable, actually the system turns off when the test begins.
Can you PM me the link of this topic you saw?
Dominator GT 2000 8-9-8 have PSC ICs, not Elpida

>you're probably on ln2 mode. use with caution. actually don't apply those voltages.
No, I'm not. But it's too late :D With this voltages and + 1,5V VCORE, I'v started LinX for 1 hr. Hottest core was 91C (and I saw a red LOG). I was a little drunk and just tested my new CPU :( It was few days ago, but yesterday it was a Prime95 Blend test (with normal for me (~1,46V) VCORE).
But now it's OK. VTT - 1,2V and VCCSA - 1,23V. Prime 95 Blend 15 hrs and LinX 1 hr. I don't know why I had a problems. Maybe 1,65V on RAM in BIOS it's not enough (MB sets a little higher, as me now, about 1,67V). Or maybe VTT and VCCSA was it that positions, that I had problems (not too low and not too high) or it was a bad delta, I just don't know :shakes:
Thx for your reply.
But guys from ROG says that "Secondary VTT does not, however try to maintain at most a 300mv delta for stability. 1.40v is fine on these CPUs" :D
The CMT4GX3M3A2000C8 ver. 7.1 (8-9-8-24) are also good in OC that CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 ver. 7.1A (8-9-8-24)?
Thanks :)
I tested the Dominator GT (CMT4GX3M2A2000C8) 2000 8-9-8-24, ver. 7.1 (PSC IC)
At 2400 9-11-10-28 1T is not stable with HyperPI 32M,
What is the best setting to be stable h24?
I tried with all sub-timings on AUTO, PSC profile but without success (the tRFC is 120 or 128)
I can test with 143 or 147?
Thank you
PS: I saw the same Dominator GT (but CMT6GX3M3A2000C8, ver 7.1A) stable h24 at 9-11-10-28
Hmmm... 2000 8-9-8 I would have thought to be BBSE. For 2400 with PSC, try 10-12-10 and work your way down. It's possible that 9-11-9 may take more than 1.65V since 2000 8-9-8 isn't a very high bin for PSC (2000 7-9-7 or 6-9-6 would be higher).
This is the PSC, take some kit to 1.65v 2400 C9 (and C8 from one topic where I put the link above)
What kit PSC are 2000 7-9-7?
Thanks
Not avalaible :(
Thanks
The PSC profile, Hynix, etc... adapts with the frequency, or it is the same for all frequency?
Thanks
Please :D
And I tested the kit Dominator GT CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 (8-9-8-24, PSC ICs) of a friend on a Rampage Extreme 4 (only 2x2GB)
For my friend, is stable at 2400 9-11-10-28 1T 1.65v (OCCT and LinX)
But for me it is not stable with Hyper PI 32M with the same timings/sub-timings (HyperPi is more violent than LinX?)
I do not use the airflow or fans, is what it is because of this?
Or what is the controller of my CPU is bad compared to his
Thanks ;)
