Thank you!
Thank you and the EK advanced reservoirs come with the tubes.

Welcome to the latest chapter of my Madness. I basically accomplished everything I wanted to today, but as usual with this case, a few more options became apparent. More on that later.
The basement is done, pumps mounted, drain lines in place and all of the cables are ready. I took many pictures, but it is hard to capture the pedestal pics, so I will show you what I did with the pumps out of the pedestal.

Pump-T-Crystal Link-Rad. The line out of the T is my drain and yes, I am using compression fittings in the basement (pedestal) I never knew how easy these fittings were to use.
Having accomplished that task, I moved on to the creative part. I cut some acrylic in red and black for a baseplate/midplate just for kicks. I liked the red much better.....

I think it looks sexy! LMK what you think?
As you can see above I also mounted the A5's, Multiswitch and the Aquadrive... Yep, the Aquadrive weighs in 16 LBS loaded and I was concerned that the case would not hold it. Happily, I was wrong! Way to go JIM and CL.:up:
Full frontal..............However, the alignment of everything is not set, so don't torch me. I had to see how everything would look together!

To say the least I am very happy. This case is a craftsman's dream, especially for an H20 cooler. If you study the pics you will see that I have one 5.25 left. My original plan was to use the third A5, but I think it would look out of place. I will probably use the PA instead. Thoughts?
I almost forgot! Because this case has so many options; I could use the BP bulkhead fittings through the acrylic or route the tubing through the middle of the case. This one has me befuddled. I can see it either way, but making the final decision is tough. Once again, any comments would be welcomed.
Lastly I received this from Shoggy today.....

Many thanks Shoggy, and yes I am old, but I still drink and have a good time!
Cheers, and all the best. :D
I really hate you, :D. I love that case and even though I do not need it, I want one. It looks so spacious and easy to work with. Any chance you have another case there to put beside it so I can get an idea of how big it is?
The case looks fantastic in white. Keep us updated!
I forgot!
The PA2's showed up today so I mounted the plate under the Aquadrive...

It looks a bit industrial, but I like it. Then I started playing around with a location for the third res. This is an I&H and it is high quality, although it may be a bit small....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04050.jpg
I am trying everything, but this looks a little ghetto...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04044.jpg
This is the way I will probably go....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04051.jpg
Remember that just about everything is thrown in at this point, so the alignments are off. Rest assured that the final product will be as close to perfect as possible.
I have to decide upon the size of the res, but I have a number of options mounting wise. On a side note, the I&H res is pure quality and the mounting is the best that I have ever used, period.
Now to let a few cats out of the bag! All of my tubing will be clear Primochill LRT 3/8 x 5/8 in the viewing "section." The basement will be LRT in black and white. However, I will be using dyes, Mayhem's red for the CPU & RAM loop, Mayhem's black (custom mix) for the A5, MB & HDD loop and Ice Dragon white for the GPU loop. This should look pretty cool with three reservoirs, at least I hope!
Cheers and thanks for following along.
@Utnorris...
I felt guilty....

If I took everything out of the CL, I could fit the TJ inside the CL, not going to happen! The MM is basically the same height, but obviously not as wide or as structurally sound.
The CL is in a class by itself.
Thank you. Man that's a big case, although not as big as my Ascension case, but still big and they make great use of the space. Thanks again.
You are most welcome!
A few things arrived today and think I have all of the fittings that I will need. I also received some fan extension cables, 20' of clear LRT tubing, 4 Aqua temp sensors ( 8 in total) and 2 more Aqua flow meters....I tried to find Aqua inline filters for complete overkill, but no luck.....

Only 3 more shipments to go! Hopefully I will be leak testing by Sunday!
Cheers
Tasty. lol
Thank you!
The EK 250 arrived, so I got out a spare piece of red acrylic and slapped it in.
Sorry for the bad pics, the lighting was terrible and it was scotch time!

Then after a scotch..:toast2:..wait a minute, lets get creative...

Hang it from the top! I like it, but it opens a whole new can of worms....
If I mount from the top, I would go one of two ways; the 400 res from the top and the 250's mounted together on the backplate, or the 250's from the top and the 400 mounted in between on the backplate?
Sorry, there are a number of options. LMK what you think.
I have to go work on my tank now to distract me from this build.
Thanks for looking in.
Cheers
this is the first build iv ever seen with 2 power supplies =0
lots of rads and lots of everything a truely over the top build..looks beast man, ill be watching for updates
Thank you!
Everything is stripped down and ready for the tubing tomorrow and hopefully the leak test. I just have to decide on the res locations.....
I am not liking this one.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04079.jpg
This has potential.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04083.jpg
With some rotary madness, it could get interesting.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04084.jpg
I have pretty much ruled out the bottom mount. The top mount looks better to me, especially with the rotary mount. It drops the res just enough and adds much more support over the D-plugs. Additionally, I like the red acrylic plate left untouched.
Any thoughts?
Whoa ... I've got some catching up to do. Spotty internet and travel have made it difficult to keep up with worklogs, but I'll be coming back to this one as soon as I can. Looking interesting so far!
Thanks and I was wondering where you were.
This is what I have decided upon.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04088.jpg
why dont you mount the res horizontally above the mobo?
or, why dont you mount them onto the top panel? horizontally again?
I honestly think you should buy a replacement tube for either the long one, or buy who longer tubes. Have them all the same length, use the same anti-cylon insert, and have them all side-by-side. It would be even more awesome if you were using three different colour dyes in each loop.
$16 for a single 140mm tube + about $11 for three anti-cyclone inserts that are the same @ PPC's. I honestly think it would be worth it. Different size reservoirs will always look a bit out of place in my opinion.
Theseeker: Looks great mate and I forgot to tell you in the PM.
I would definitely mount all hardware and not stuff around with powersupply cabling until the other fiddly mounting/tubing and cabling is done. As long as you have done a basic PSU wiring test prior to mounting everything else just best to keep that jungle out of the way till you do your first power-on test. Use a PSU externally with the bitspower powerboard to test everything. Looking forward to the detailed build log.
Also any chance of you taking a dremel to your beautiful MB tray to make another cable route? The routes you have look are a little too long to me and would be better on a more direct route.
Unfortunately the board is a little too short to use the cable routes for the SR2 that the MB tray is designed for.
See below for an idea. You could also do an ATX power cutout below it to make it really clean.
You could also possibly mount the res tubes stacked from centre of the case to the outside panel in a straight line instead of front to back? Might have to get inventive with mounting (move the white horizontal mounting plate back?) but you have more space in the width at this stage than you do in the depth. It already looks crowded in there with the drive cage and front panel stuff mounted with the three res side by side front to back. I also think you should just get 1 shorter res so they all match and sell the other long one!

Damn very nice build going on here. Love the size of the new case too. Looks like it is real nice to work with.
