tested my CU II in vantage. mem is performing great there
Looks like my previous results were driver related (3D drivers).
Now no problems going over 8000 in P:

@ cole2109
That's funny, I got exactly the same score with my 2 in SLI :)
Obviously GPU/CPU subscores are different :)

those drivers doesn't like my system, i'm having bsod all the time, even on desktop while doing nothing....
luke, your cpu running at ??
HOLYdamn Cole , your only using 1.128v for 5.1 !??! Thats a SICK cpu man hahaa
thanks ;)
i think your cpu runs better than mine, i have to bump vcore to achieve those speeds .....
btw i've tried those drivers on another hd, no bsod ...

:p:
At the moment to high temp in the room for 1000MHz

14K here we come
This is not real voltage. CPU-z bug.Quote:

i suggest a ranking for all this nice scores!
I have currently have a vanilla 580 and recently put a full cover block on it. Is it possible to unlock high voltages than those provided by E-Leet? My current maximum voltage is 1.14375V I believe if I can get up to ~1.15V that I would be able to break the 1GHz barrier.
Considering my 580 is LC, would running at 1.15V "permanently" damage the GPU? If not is it possible for me to save the voltage/frequency settings to the card as to avoid using software?
Damn, how do you gut 1.5 !! Volt? My max is 1.15 on all 3 Cards.
I didn't even think voltages could go that high without any kind of modding but 1.4 let alone 1.5 seems *WAY* to high. That kind of crazy voltage is a big no no on anything but the most extreme cooling ( LN2 ) Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but that just sounds nucking futs. Most stock 580s support up to 1.138 officially with some bios allowing up to 1.2 or so. And honestly if you are looking at hitting a useable day to day clock speed and are not in it just for a measuring contest I'd be sparing with the voltage as the power usage skyrockets on these things when you start cranking the voltage.
My bad, I forgot a digit :) its supposed to be 1.1XXXX, I adjusted my post accordingly
That makes more sense, scared me there :)
Now with that cleared up, 1.15v should be fine on water long term. With the same rad as you ( the tfc ) I had my 580 in a loop with my 920 ( also at 4.2ghz ) since early December until recently and I had no issues with medium speed fans. Things loaded around 45-50C on the gpu and in the mid 50s on the cpu in multi threaded games.
As far as doing so without software you'd have to resort to a custom bios so unless you are comfortable with that stick with software. I personally like using nvidia inspector as it plays nice at startup with vista/7 without resorting to anything fancy. I've flashed my video bios in the past before but unless you are damn sure those clock speeds and voltages are 100% solid it can make for a huge headache later down the road.
What better way to open more voltage of 1150?
I can't reach over 932MHz with 1150v :(
i need reach 950 or 960MHz only .
thank for all .
that extra 20-30mhx wont make a difference really.. I say tweak out a few other things and call it a day @ 930
It might be a little early to say but upgrading from my Silverstone Zues 750watts to a Strider Gold 850watts made my 900Mhz core stable at stock voltage, with my older PSU I would get instant glitches in heaven 2.5 and now I've passed 3 runs w/o a single issue!
I do hope this holds up!
Demo - I have been benching single 580 with a 620w psu because it seemed to do the job but I have been chasing a weird low scoring issue in 3D11, I wonder if I may also have an underlaying power supply problem, I also ordered a Strider Gold 850 that should arrive tomorrow , so Im interested to see what happens.
:)
Please do post your findings, Im now trying game testing with the 900Mhz core at stock voltage.
single card run, .... !

I was able to get 1.15V using MSI Afterburner, hopefully its actually at 1.15V and not just 1.4XXX
Anyways, here are my results.
1GHz Core 2400MHz Mem.

CPU configs are as indicated in my sig 4.2GHz i7 920.
I'll give this a few hours run on Heaven to determine long term stability. Considering my cooling and temps, I think this may be a decent 24/7 OC.
p3gaz_001 - how does your rig score in vantage and 06 with the same settings?
:)
After running Heaven for an hour or so, I noticed artifacts. I had to reduce my GPU clock all the way to 972MHz to achieve stability at 1.15V
@ aussie-revhead are you talking about mine or your rig?! :)
