this level is more finished than the first had to drop down to advanced to keep from lagging
DX11 can be easily unlocked, the files are there in the folder when you dl the game.

No dx11 doesn't work, r_driver does nothing and if you rename the dx11 rendere to dx9, you can get into the menu, but you get a lot "missing shaders" when you look into the console and the screen just will be black... :p
So everything you see is dx9 and i even think some of the setting in "highspec.cfg" don't work right. So the maximum you probably see is DX9 medium.
I really really hope they have tesslation support in DX11, crysis2 would benefit very much from this.

been playing for over an hour now, heres some likes dont likes,
like that the game is true to the original, with middle button nano suit changing, hud feels cool, suit recharge seems faster, good intro and link in from previous game (poor Prophet)
dont like, feels very linear (but i suppose they all do nowadays) also feels very MW2 in its hit feel/looks/ havent seen any weapons yet that make me go woo hoo,
all in all a good game, will need to get it when it comes out as this is very buggy, and i am a multiplayer guy myself, and i like full eye candy, so DX11 is a must for me
just hope my watercooled 2 x 470's can handle the game lol
got me a 470 OTW to give this game a shot wish mine was watercooled hope the bugger isn't crazy loud in my HTPC :rotf:
the game is pretty fun to play..of course the bugs are annoying but it keeps me interested...i cant wait for final release..if multiplayer is worth a damn ill for sure buy it..
Game looks amazing, got mine pre-ordered already. I hope a 6970 is enough for max settings, Crysis has been the only game that's been smooth with 30~ fps hope it's the same for Crysis 2. I really hope that DX11 will rid those ugly pointy rock debris textures...
Not sure why people assume that the number of people that pirates the games equates number of lost sales. Do people not understand that the majority of the pirates are those that weren't going to buy the game in the first place.
It is truly sad that they included DX9 support. Even BF3 will be DX10 and up only for crying out loud.
