I've confirmed that my issue with failed boot no overclock and maybe VGA driver crash only occurs when I use all 4 memory sticks in my pc. I've ruled out a dodgy stick or slot. The memory is rated at 1.5v and is running at this.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried another CPU?

Sometimes hard drive detection takes a really long time, and rarely it says that my RAID-0 volume is offline.

AMD has one under qualification now, which drives are in RAID?

It's good to know. The two Samsung SP2004C are in RAID-0.
Yesterday was the worst.
First boot: RAID offline, the two HD642JJ was ok.
Second Boot: RAID offline, no other HDD detected.
Third boot: RAID SMART error, the two HD642JJ was ok.

At this point I've set back the controller to IDE mode, and checked the SMART status on all four drives. Everything was ok (as I expected).

Fourth boot: RAID ok, one HD642JJ was missing.
Fifth boot: Success!

Thanks for the M4A89GTD-Pro/USB3 beta bios saved the day...

I was stuck with 1456 which destroyed my 1090T @ 4ghz OC not even stock was stable....
With 1503 its all good again same settings as 1301 :up:

really hopping a downgrading method will popup soon , was stuck with 1456 for weeks and it was hell and unstable... :down:

M4A79_deluxe is giving me a wicked headache atm.....you have no clue how many workarounds i am using to stay competitive in a comp atm :ROTF:

On top of it usual quirks ( loses NB all the time since way back when ) it has issues with cpu multis on thuban, issues with ht multis on athlons, and i forget what it had issues with on 965 but i know it had some problem.

over 300 HT is an issue as well, and it hates with a passion gskill pc 9600 1200 c5 ram.

K10 stat no worka. CPU multi still stuck at 4x.

this is with latest "public" beta.

nope a public would be a bios listed on site in the mobo bios DL section ;)

3603 would likely be a leaked beta.

Add multithreaded memory performance issues to the list of issues.

3501 bios with a rather large amount of workarounds.

I have 3603 here.
It seems to solve the Ht >18,5 issue for Deneb CPUs. Not sure if it fixes the Thuban Multi (@ 4x) issue too since I don't have a thuban to check that right now.
I could post it if its ok. Got it from ASUS support 2 days ago

Not yet... that's the point: I'm not sure if its ok to "leak" it ^^

I'm sure they won't mind if i have it but I will wait till my ASUS contacts send it to me :)

If you do want to leak the 3603, I would be glad to test it for the x4 multiplier bug. This bug is really getting old over here.

Hi,

no beta bios for M4A79 Deluxe?
the latest two release are bugged, with a 965 c3 the cpu frequency remains fixed to the P3 p-state, 800Mhz :(

No Changelog, since its a beta i got from support.
All I can tell is that it fixed the multi issue I had with Deneb CPU
