Put me down for 4 of those 8347's, unless someone finds a better barcy for a group buy (8356, 8350, etc..)
BTW duh did you get a price for the mobo? and estimated shipping cost to sweden?

+1 on hoping for better barcys (8354+ would be an ideal for me)
put me down for one. I'm kind of confused about the processor thing though. How many processors do we have to buy minimum. I'm in the US.
I'll be in for 4x of those proc's if a better deal doesn't present itself
im up for one board, and 8 cpus :) ive still got this other arima board sitting idle ;)
In case it helps, this is my Quad 8347HE on HCC and HFCC:
http://boincstats.com/stats/host_gra...wcg&id=1022720
BOINC points, so pretty much exactly 30k/d WCG :)
It's running at 2Ghz though, 211x9,5 - yes you can OC them :D
jcool, what are you using to OC yours? ive tried setfsb, and k10stat on my 3 tyan boards, and havent been able to get one Mhz more than stock out of them.
if these only do $30k.. I am losing interest in these.. I really wish they'd be worth it.. but I just don't see it anymore.. REALLY sorry...
I want this one sitting on my table.. Will we ever order :D
pm me if you want the email for the guy with the 8347 barcelona's. he is shipping them to europe for 32$ for up to 25 cpu's, above that shipping would incease alittle.. i am buying 16 cpus, at 27,5 $ each its a bargain. they go for much more on ebay.
we might as well order individually from the guy.
I was just checking out the 8347's. Cpu-world.com has the introduction price at $738, in what 2007? Now you can pick one up for $27.50... Nothing depreciates like PC hardware  Good for crunchers tho!
i just "orded" 16 cpus, so i hope these quad boards will work out :)
Some old version of ntune. It allows you to change HTT base freq, at least on my Supermicro H8QME-2. Buggy as hell though, crashes upon install (quote from Particle: "This is normal" ) and you can't save profiles, meaning you will have to set the OC manually every time you reboot (if you use profiles it'll freeze the machine). Good thing I never reboot
Well, 8354's would do more I guess.. maybe 35k/d? Also draw more power though.
right but, I can get 2x athlon II 630's or 1x phenom x6 and get close to that with much less power usage and hassle with having to use two psu's, and have a board that doesn't fit any cases... If the board was standard size, and took regular power... then I could see it... and if these did 45+ k per day... then I could see it... but 30+ just isn't worth the trouble.. Sorry Duh, I hope this works out for others though!
Gonzalo: cool factor is determinant
75 bucks is the best the seller could make for us ( and its for 50 units )
will come back here later.
Oo that's a touch high. Might still be worth it just for the cool factor. I mean considering where the boards came from it is pretty cool
I would be interested on 1 mainboard and 4 cpu to fit in, but would be nice having a big edit in 1st page to sum up pricesand references of the items... cause could not figure how much a 4-socket mainboard would cost with the available deals... 6 page is a lot :p
the board is 75 each if we get up to 50 pieces. cpus are through me, and is 27,5$ each for 8347, its a 1.9ghz quadcore cpu, you need 4 of them ofc.
btw Duh, i would like 4 boards, as i have already brought 16 cpus from my contact. and as fast as possible :)
and what kind of ram? Ecc reg ddr2?
i think so. correct me if im wrong :)
