Just read topic before posting so stupid answers.

So, what's the real point? As a Finnish hardware-veteran, I'm really pissed of as newcomer, like SF3D, is saying that "you are not good enough to be in that competition" to another Finnish overclockers.
So "I'm the PRO and you are so poor overclockers that you should stay out". Finnish "professional" overclocker dissing another Finnish overclockers for "lack of skill" is simply unprofessional = amateur.Quote:

SF3D is good example for lack of experience. Hardware-scene veterans usually have some respect to each other. This kind of amateur newcomers, who get good parts for overlocking and then immediately think they are very special dudes, really pisses me and also staff from the other site involved in this case.
SF3D should just learn some manners, get some experience and stop saying things like that to other overclockers, especially Finnish ones.
this is NO place to fight your little battle with SF3D. he's a respected member here and at many other forums. Nobody here knows you; so take this to PM/EMAIL and stop filling this thread with your garbage replies.
Respected member who is dissing other overclockers? You certainly have very good reasons for "respect". And quite many here knows me. So stop telling misinformation.
Btw, you have sent me tons of e-mails, so you do "know" me :)
Well, SF3D started this whole discussion, blame him.
And "garbage replies", would you just read this topic? Here are some "not so garbage" posts from this thread:
Yeah, very useful. Or what?
you're not winning anybody over by attacking SF3D in public... I could say "stop while you're ahead" but that's not possible anymore since you keep on replying ;)
with "garbage replies" I'm talking about off-topic posts; those you quote are all related to the event.
Because you seem to be forum admin or something, say following:
Where we should continue this discussion? Yes, this discussion is public, so forget all e-mails/PM's and so on. This same old trick to blame people and try to avoid further discussion with offtopic-card. "You all (add some harsh words here). Btw, this is wrong place to talk about it. No offtopic please".
How is this post related with topic: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...8&postcount=50
You start eating popcorn, when event starts or what? I'm impressed.
oh boy, ego war, it's worldwide :(
Not ego war. Just asking some respect for other overclockers from same country.
And I think that "respected membars" are not allowed to FO other members even if they are respected members? Or if here is rule that when you are hard enough, you may do anything you want, then good luck.
I haven't seen anything disrespectfull from SF3D in this topic... You on the other hand, you can't stop flaming people who are just trying to put any reason in this pointless conversation.
Maybe you should just get things straight before you start flaming people who are invited. I wasn't invited but i'm not flaming Massman and Leeghoofd either. They got chosen because they have shown what they can do. And if, or when I catch up with them, maybe I will be invited to competitions as these as well.
So please, post some scores, build up an oc reputation and stop flaming people who have worked hard to get in the top 10 of HWbot. Your attitude tells me that you're not nearly as experienced as SF3D, because it's not all about the hardware you have, it's more about skill and knowledge.
And btw, :welcome: to XS
Hey guys,
derailing no more, please :D
Let me help you.
And people who SF3D wrote that, consider it disrespectfull. So if you don't, those who that text was directed to, consider it. I consider it too.
I do not care who has been invited to competition and who is not. But SF3D's attitude is something very unprofessional.
And I cannot understand why SF3D thinks he is so big dude that he can blame other overclockers from same country as "not good enough". That is unrespectful, unprofessional, pathetic and quite stupid. Especially with that experience.
It is OK to say "look at these results, these are world class" and so on. But saying that "you suck and do not deserve to be in competition because you are not good enough", that is not OK.
Read above. OK, if I gain enough reputation here, can I say that everybody in this forum are (rought words here). In other words, I'm above all rules if I'm hard enough? I can blame everybody for anything and that is OK?
And as I already said, I do not care who is experienced and who is not, but insulting other people. That is something I do not tolerate.
Thanks.
All I'm asking is that SF3D explains...
- How did he know that those peoples' invitation had been withdrawn.
- Why he insulted overclockers from same country as "not good enough".
Not too much to ask?
Ok, I will check it. If I don't see popcorn, what then?
And if you don't have anything intelligent to say, you should not post any more garbage. This discussion is directly related to competition, so offtopic-card is useless.
It seems that in this forum it is OK to insult other people, so if this is the case, tell me and everything is OK. If not, you have read my point.
In case you wonder, just those guys who SF3D insulted woke my attention and SF3D's post really is something very unacceptable.
hoping that video will be 720p or at least good quality one.
(puts on mod hat)
Totally uncalled for.
If you and SF3D have issues then take them up privately and sort them out.
Now my own 2 cents, I've met him my impressions were these:
1) Very pleasant
2) watched him bench and he "knows his stuff"
Now no one is a perfect human being but I can only go on what I see with my own two eyes but no matter what, your comments here were uncalled for.
If JAT is smart he will let this go.
I'm the one that activated his account app 24 hours ago and I can 'unactivate" just as fast.
The mess here seems to have been started by gigabyte when they changed the rules. not malicious on their part from what I can see, just responding to the wants of the guys involved.
Now if someone didn't get invited I'm sorry but no need to attack anyone here.
There have been many events I wanted to attend but couldn't for different reasons and that is life.
I don't sit here and whine but rather sit back and enjoy the pics from the people who were at the events.
I think back to last January and remember all the good guys I met at the Xs CES party..
Think on the positive my friends, life is too short to dwell on the negative.
Can't wait to see many of you guys in action......................Goold luck to everyone
@JAT
Plz man,sto poluting this thread with your words.
And let me give you a small advice : When you think everyone is wrong and you are right .........ehhhh......think again,it's usually the other way around.
But the thing is that we did get invited and Gigabyte hasn't, even up to this moment, informed us in any way after the invitation. I've met SF3D in person and never would have believed that he would act this way, but hey now I know..
And yes I do find his post very insulting.
Hope we can clear this mess and SF3D will come and explain his harsh words.
It seems that many people can't read or understand anything.
Public insulting in forums should be discussed publicly in forums.
If you read my posts, this is not about SF3D personally, this is about SF3D's posting in this forum. Got it?
If you read my posts, this is not about SF3D personally, this is about SF3D's posting in this forum. Got it x2?
ORLY? Tough guy? Congratulations.
Yeah, SF3D did just that. It seems you did not read my postings at all.
So you did not read my posts. How about reading them before wriring BS and threat with banning?
Sorry, next post tells I'm right. Failed.
THIS is what this is all about. I do not care why puunakki did not get invited after all. I just want SF3D to explain his insults to other overclockers from same country.
So if you read this thread, you should give answers to my points. If you can't and only thing you can do us still threat with banning for no given reason (you have not given any valid reason why I will get banned, just "writing in this thread" means that you should ban everybody who has written in this thread), I can say you are the worst forum moderator I have ever seen. I suggest that you take off your moderator rights because you simply do not have enough skill to to this "job".
If you ban me, it just proves you are unable to handle any proper discussion. Congratulations on that.
You have not said where this discussion should be continued. No, Email or PM is not an answer, public dissing, public discussion.
You can, for example, put a new thread and move these messages there and we can continue discussion there. Not hard, it should be very simple job, but you prefer to threat with banning me. Tells something about this forum moderating line. I suggest that you should buy/use a mirror, look at it and think "who had valid points here".
Long live Finnish HW-scene.
