In the R2E thread, it looks as if the latest BIOS has resolved the S3 sleep issue for many so I would imagine that this would/will be the same for the P6T boards.

I looked at the release notes of the latest P6T DLX bios (1102).
It only mentioned resolving memory compatibility issues, no word on S3 sleep issue so I wouldn't count on it.
Certainly NOT true.
I use SAS adapter, Perc 5/i without a problem, worked flawlessly on all latest 3 bios versions too (09xx,1003,1102).
I had this issue, just disabled sleep mode, why in the world a PC needs sleep mode ?
Just put the screen to turn off after about 15-20 Minutes and its fine for me.
You are spot on - I got the P6T Deluxe to replace two just horrible Gigabyte EX58 Extremes, where S3 sleep mode simply did not work, period (didn't matter what the BCLK is set at). The boards had other issues as well so I got sick of them.
The P6T Deluxe has been considerably better. S3 sleep is not perfect but it does work up to a certain OC level but I don't have any of the other issues I had with the Giga board. And the P6T overclocks every bit as well as the Giga did for me (this was really the only plus of the Giga board).
I'm an hour into Prime95 small FFT as I'm typing this @ 4.0GHz (19x211 @ 1.4000v) with HT on and 12GB of Dominator DDR3 - not bad.
Anyone having issues setting uclk to anything but AUTO? With even conservative settings (in line with everything else) I get no post if I define the clock. I have no issues defining any of the other settings.
I just got this mobo and wil install everything tonight. Quick question, can I run dual OS??
Any news about the V2 one ?????? Already official but not available .... Common Asus !
I want to buy a P6T Deluxe V2 ;)
I wonder, is possible to run SLI with top and bottom pci-e 16x slots (i.e. skipping pci-e 16x slot in the middle)
Ok, I broke down and ordered the Open Box deal of the P6T Deluxe on Newegg. If this board comes comletely bare with no accessories, besides the backplane, what else would I be missing that is a must have?
Not really, I never use anything besides the backplate. But the Q-connector helps a lot.
Ok, I figured out why the ftp server in the original post that has the BIOS updates does not contain the new 1102 BIOS. It is the wrong location. I used wireshark to find the URL from which the bios is downloaded when you select the global server, and this is the URL:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...ELUXE-1102.zip
But if you remove the filename to just see the directory contents (for newer BIOS updates, or betas and such), it just says file not found. Anybody know how to see the directory contents?
