I just got home from out of the country so I am now able to take a look at mine. They came with 4 o-rings in a bag with the screws needed to install it, I am assuming that I am supposed to install those in the block before installing it. I am taking the blocks apart regardless for cleaning of the threads but I want to make sure that I put those o-rings on correctly in the event that there are none in the blocks.
The blocks come with o-rings installed. The extras are for backup.Quote:

Pic of my MB with all the blocks installed. The MOSFET block was a PAIN. Because it has 2 seperate copper blocks that share one common cooling block it took me, I swear, 2 hours to get that thing to align where all the screws go in... including mounting plate screws. For me the top block had to come off and loosen the 2 hidden screws. Get the back plate screws started with everything topside loose. Then put the top block screws back in (just a few threads) without top block. This will help keep everything top side aligned then snug the backplate bolts. Go back top side, resnug those 2 hidden screws... don't overtighten and damage o-rings, and reattach top block and tighten it down. Go backside and make sure everything is snug. There was NO margin for fitment error with this block. Oh well... happy its on. It better not leak. The NB/SB block was easy. I trimmed the leads on all of the devices where the NB/SB plate mounts just for good measure.
Just have patience with the MOSFET block and all will be good.
My MB does look badazz doesn't it? :D
Oh ya... had to buy a button head screw for the NB/SB block as this particular model of Swiftech fittings interfers with it. With the button head screw I was still able to compress the o-ring. I'll keep an eye on it during leaktest. If it fails I'll get the thinner diameter style 1/2" adaptors...

The mosfet setup look's very fine. It's better then 2 blocks i think.
im 100% sure there is less flow drop then having 2 blocks with tubing. :up:Quote:

I just wanted to let you all know that compression fittings of 3/8 and 1/2ID sizes will not fit on the N/B-S/B block. This is because one screw on the block makes the mounting area too small. This problem can be solved with anything that is a G1/4 Male to Female connector (Coupler, 45 adapter, 90 ect..) :up:
I did a test loop leak testing and everything worked fine out of the box :D
bei means you need to flush the screws next time. :P

Wow, why did this thread die off and why did jab-tech and sidewinders stop carrying these blocks? I'd like to order some for my ASUS P6T Deluxe V2. Certainly at least the MOSFET one!
bei got tired of asus's OCD nature in board revisions.

But if i remember correctly, eddy didnt want to touch the P6T because of 2 caps which sat over the SB.

I have an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2. It looks like Bits power makes a NB/SB full cover block for the Deluxe V2. But it looks like no one makes anything anywhere near as good as that MOSFET block!
