I don't know where get this too biased towwards quads or why you think it hog resources.
but looking form what is showing 6.8 is really high for a dual, though put is good to 19,000 running in dual channel vs single channel must affect it.
my quad phenom at stock is hitting 15ms and about 17,000 kuc. OC to 3.0ghz 10ms and 26,000kuc
