The board shouldn't have a problem with that. tRD was set at 7 when I did the screenshot in post #96.

TPower settings used with Reaper1066 2x2Gb kit and E7200 at 3.808GHz. E7200 will run fine at 0.05v below this in most any actual application but these are the bombproof pass-IBT-all-day BIOS voltage settings:
CPU: +0.300 (around 1.26-1.27v under load in OS per CPU-Z)
DDR: +0.250
NB/SB: +0.225
VTT: +0.125
CPU GTL: 0.63% on both cores
MCH GTL: 0.56%
My board is bone stock with no sink lapping, etc. I may be able to drop the chipset volts a bit between further testing and actually leaving Evil E II alone for a while.
w00t new mbios does in fact work, did not notice a much change but not sure what im looking for and changing pci latency to 32 did make onb audio sound more "crisp"
I have a lot of "skeleton parts" in my possession for the TPower BIOS now, the next release will be another beta but pretty much built from square one again. Hopefully I can do something for memory compatibility, though I'm not too sure what people aren't liking with the memory compatibility, my experiences so far suggest its pretty good
I had zero issues with memory compatibility with the B-star, but am always looking for '11' even if the knob only goes to '10'. Unfortunately I did have a stick of RAM take a dump overnight
This TPower certainly doesn't like my Cellshocks, won't even run 1140MHz and on my P5Q Pro the sticks can POST up to 1300MHz. Also, can anyone tell me if I'm missing something with the OCZ XTC memory cooler? I plug it in and the LED lights come on but the fans dont spin up
Could the divider have something to do with it? I'm only trying it at 1:1. My tRFC is set to 46, and the tWR is at 6. I'm running the dimms at 2.2v, but kicking the voltage up to closer to 2.3 doesn't make any difference. My NB voltage is at +.300. The system is rock solid, just slower than I'm expecting. My pi times took a fairly large hit moving from the BloodIron to this board when I was still running my quad. Running 1:1 at 520mhz 5-5-5-12-46, I'm getting 9492/11040/10342/53.8ns in everest cache and memory benchmark.

Not 'officially confirmed' but I think OCZ got a bad batch of fans. If you email their CS or post on the support forum they have you should get sorted pretty quickly.
I use lots of Reapers which are not compatible with the XTC cooler but my 1150's never even got warm at 1220 on the 'E', and while we are talking RAM speed my Biostar has not been able to match the P5K Pro or either P5Q-E in sheer BIOS speed. In Sandra and various OS tests the I45 holds its own throughput-wise.
Oh great...:banana::banana::banana:ing fantastic.. I wait a week for an order that should of arrived in a few days tops and the main part of that order is completely naffed and I have to piss around getting it sorted because OCZ QC is so shat they can't even detect blazingly obvious things like dud fans. Not happy with AWD-IT or OCZ right now.
You will kill those 2x2GB DIMMs quickly above 2.2v and many of them do best at or below 2.1v. You need to set TRFC to 78 (max for the board). tWR is GTG at 6. I've yet to see a P45 that liked 1:1 with any 'normal' RAM like my P35 did (heck, my old P5W hates anything but 1:1). I seem to get best results in actual normal usage on 5:6 and 4:5 dividers.
Have you played with the clock skew? I think part of the reason TPower needs so much TRFC is lack of discrete RAM clk skew adjustments (and possibly dirty 'budget' clocks requiring brute force to hit high numbers).
As I said it is merely suspicion yet some things I've seen online tend to lean toward a faulty batch.
Would you feel better if I told the stick that poo'd itself was a basically brand-new Platinum1066 1GB module out of a carefully handled 2x1GB kit?
Banana-banana-f'n-banana frustrating!
Not really. :p: Right now I'm all hulked out ready to tear OCZ and AWD-IT a new arsehole.
Hello guys, i talk the man how selling me his reapers, he say 600 at 2,1-2,2v. but i cant go over 1080 :( can anybody make me some screenshoots what to set in bios to reach in 1:1 more as 1080 ? maybe screens from the oc side of the bios, from the ram timing side, an what i should to do there?
maybe messenger msn oder yahoo?
Heres a new beta for the TPower, being beta, have some form of BIOS recovery on standby, just in case. Biggest change to this is a new memory table, its roughly 45% larger than vanilla.
its great KET that you do something for the bios. i dont understand biostar dont do something more for the bios, for example read XS or something like that to see the opinions and experiences
maybe i am a big big mem noob and dont understand the settings :D maybe my board is the best on planet :D maybe i am to xxxxx for this one and the settings:D
I just do what I can, with the amount of stuff I have to catch up on atm I can't fully test the TPower mBIOSes right now so their just being released as betas.
the biggest problem of biostar tpower bios is this...http://www.xtremesystems.org/FORUMS/....php?p=3140264
my cellshock pc8000 (gkx) and pc6400 (gmh) work good...1300 cas5 with 2.4volt. :D
Not strictly true. I have some Cellshock PC8000 thats GKX and its not even stable @ 1140MHz on the Biostar yet it can do 1200+ on my P5Q Pro.
i'm stable at 1114 with 2.3 volt and ddr2 rcomp at 2 or 3

OK I have one of these boards en route with an E8600 and 4GB of the new OCZ Reapers, 1066 speed. I also have a Q6600 and 4GB of OCZ FlexII DDR2 1150 I will be testing.
Thanks to all that have reviewed, posted tips/settings, and those who are doing more in depth BIOS work.
Now the memory issue:
From what I have been reading, this board has some issues with the older D9 based chips, but is just screaming with the newer DDR2 that uses lower volts.
Has anyone else noticed this trend as well?
Doesn't seem to make a difference with me nomatter the settings. Really not enjoying this TPower, but I shall endevour to soldier on until at least one "final" mBIOS makes its way out.
I just flashed that b4 beta bios and I swear it looks the same as the official. Link the wrong one?
