Man I love Huskies! On top of that I love all animals, don't own a dog yet as I live in an apartment, but I have 2 cats and some fish. Well this is Bailey, he fetches like a dog does that count? :D

I'm back, folks. I edited my original post in this thread earlier today and will re-edit as necessary to update goings-on.
I bought Ace's board for Ket based on people's commitments and Ace's short timeframe. So far I have actually gotten two donations of $15 & $28 dollars with the second party committing to send $10 more tomorrow. If you send me money, please do include your XS screen-name so that I can give you proper credit here for all to see and Ket to do his RAM offer. If you would rather remain anonymous, that's cool too I suppose.
We originally thought the board was going to be $135US shipped, but actually it was $140 and I'm sure Ace won't mind verifying this here if needed. The board has been shipped via USPS and I have the tracking info Ace provided to me. He sent it as a 'gift' and claimed the value at $95US.
So basically my $10 plus the $43 I've received thus far recovers $53 of the $140 outlay I put up to get the board moving.
I sincerely thank you for your support no matter what amount you can or care to donate, it is all going to what I feel is a good cause.

shipping cost went up due to the USPS quoting me a service that requires the board to go into an USPS Flat Rate box which is to small...not until i got into the final stages of buying and then printing the shipping label did it tell me of this requirement...so...i had to start all over again.
starting anew increased the price by about $5 which allowed me to use my own box.
the box is off and now the snail mail:D is in action!

Tiberius the Siberian ate well tonight, and almost ate too well. I took him with me on my errands and an unleashed, ill-tempered terrier mix made the mistake of charging him & almost got itself eaten. He gives no crap but takes none either - too bad more people aren't like dogs.

Bailey my cat pictured above, was from the ASPCA in my area. He was abandoned in a warehouse at about 5 weeks old. My girlfriend went down there saw him and brought him home. He is the best cat I have ever owned. :up:
Very cool, and good on ya for rescuing Bailey. Most folks give animals their spare time while the animals give us their all, who gets the better deal?
Tiberius has an interesting story regarding how he came to me, a bit long but I'll post it up or PM it if you want. I did get him a big Greenie tonight for giving the dog that charged him tonight a lesson in manners instead of simply chowing down on the heathen.
I'm about to try sleeping, need to get some rest for tomorrow.

Hinge will get back to you shortly :up: Also, marcam, our dogs will eat your cats.. :D While we are talking about animal stories Tasha is a rescue dog too :) she was abandoned with her brothers and sisters just after she was born :down: Sadly Tashas mother was too weak and didn't make it :( the whole time even after passing Tasha didn't leave her mothers side :( When I got Tasha she was the tender age of 9 weeks old. Now shes 2 and a bundle of energetic nuttery :D
