So does it have WGA? Is it the same process of uninstalling as in SP2?
Whats the benefit of downloading the ISO vs the usual ?
I just used this one http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
The ISO is *just* SP3....not the OS and SP3, i made this error last nite thinking mad things in my head. SP3 slipstreamed...um, my corporate edition of XP and it's serial key, not accepted as valid...lol, holes plugged i guess. No matter, i have a 100% legit/retail copy of Vista.
Well, I tried Windows update a three days ago and it made me do WGA, but SP3 did not show up.
I installed SP3 (from the ISO image link provided by RD) and it went smooth.
Add/Remove programs shows an uninstall option for SP3.
BTW I am using a corporate (legit) version of SP3. I will be slipstreaming later today.
The only advantage I see is that a fresh install is fast. It used to take me over an hour on windows update for new updates after a fresh install of XP + SP2.
