These things are so quiet.
:)
Raid0 - here I come!
I don't see anything alarming in that ss. :)
Both my 640GB'ers show exact same numbers which are similar to your's.

i thought something wrong :P
cause old T1 500GB SAMSUNG didnt have anything yellow :P
where did you get HD TUNE 3.0 PRO? :D
*Cough-cough*
HDTune is a commercial program.
:P
yeah and i'm prest :P
Bad news.
My other HD642JJ died in her crib. All it says anymore is a horrible non-stop clickety-click. There was a slight performance discrepancy between the two drives in HDTach and HD Tune, wonder if that was an omen of things to come?
^rule #1!
largon dead?
I don't care how fast my OS boots up so I'm good with a single drive or a RAID0 array of two.
Yup. Got one dead F1 640GB here. It was basically DOA since it lived ~2hours.

btw, would you post your F1 750GB HD Tach / Tune benchmark results?
edit:
Audio sample of the dead disc revvin up:

Hmmmm.....
I also noticed a slight performance disrepancy between my 2 sammy F1 320GB drives.
Furthermore, I noticed a difference in the casing (underside) and some solder points even though both drives were virtually seqential in terms of serial number....
I guess 2 (or more) fabs are churning these out and then they are being mixed up when it comes to allocating serial number stickers?
.....answers on a postcard to the usual address :D
The serial numbers of the drives are the same save the last number: the s/n of the drive that's still alive ends in 495 and the dead one is 499 - they're almost identical twins. :D
HDTach graphs reveal a distinct difference between them, the patterns are totally different:
Attachment 75005
Blue graph = dead drive
Is this normal for identical drives?
Heres the pic:
2 HD322HJ drives with virtually identical serial numbers:
