And it's a fan designed to have higher static pressure....which usually translates into better radiator/HSF performance. Calling it a static pressure fan is just one way of saying it's a fan built for radiator/HSF duty. They came out with the Slipstreams (which every time I see someone put on a radiator, I cringe) simultaneously and called them open air fans. Not a gimmick, but some people really don't understand why or when one fan is better than another, so they're trying to direct people toward different fans based on their needs.
