Well the guys at Crytek are STILL claiming that the 8800 series will play the game quite well. Even at the launch of the 8800GT they were smiling and saying that these cards are great for the game. The settings for the GTX, Ultra and GT all default to very high settings. So my hope is that the demo is not optimised at all. Also the drivers are still early... but it's obvious that the GT was made to bring Crysis to the masses me thinks??
Does anyone else think that programs should really take advantage of SLI more. I mean if the ran a thread for the background graphics and another for the enemies, player, etc, then each thread can run on the seperate card. I'm sure it would be a MASSIVE boost (just as programs are on dual cpus').
The thing is.. is it possible??

well considering 1680*1050 is playable all maxed out I'm thinking that that they're right when they said the 8800GTS 640 would be decent for the game.
still expecting around a 25% performance boost form drivers and game optimization when the game is launched.
