FF on all pc's i use.
I thought it would be interesting to point out that Google Chrome is significantly faster in terms of DL speeds than IE or Firefox. IE was found to be significantly faster than its counterparts for uploading. Firefox was found to be significantly slower for uploading than its counterparts.
I have a study to back up my claim. It's an ANOVA study:
Browsers tested: (1) Google Chrome (2) Internet Explorer (3) Firefox
Metrics: (1) Download Speed (2) Upload Speed
If anyone cares I'll pull it out and post it on my website so people can see.
Some functionality of Maxthon in Opera would = total pwnage.
SRWare Iron and FF
Wow, managed to miss this poll :P
Only use Firefox anywhere.
Firefox at home and IE7 at school.
I mainly use Firefox 3, but lately I've just given Safari 4 Beta a try, and it's actually really fast.
Although I'll always go back to Firefox, 'cause I can't do without my precious add-ons. :p
Firefox, have been using it a long time. I've tried others such as Opera, Safari, Chrome, etc. But always ended back to Firefox. I think what makes Firefox so great is the ability to customize it. Sure you can do that with other browsers, it's just with FF I know what I'm doing. XD
Google Chrome gets more interesting as more betas come out. Build 170 and counting...
Well, technically I use all of them since I am a Web Designer :p:.
For my personal use I use FF or Chrome on all my comps and Safari or FF at school.
I tried Opera a while ago but I didn't really like it. I missed my FF add-ons too much.
+ another for firefox
firefox at 73% :)
True, but I don't mind adding them ;). I think I tried Opera as a main in the 8.x days. Does it still have issues rendering poor code correctly? I mean I know it does very well on Acid tests, but I had issues with some sites back then.
I would probably use Safari 4 instead of Chrome, but (on a mac at least) it stops loading the page when you scroll... which I can't stand .
It still has troubles with some pages now and then, and I really wish they would put more effort into accurate rendering. But for the most part, I don't run into many problems day to day and pages are comparable to Firefox.
Google chrome here
Google Chrome here as well..i like it much better then IE FF or Safari 4 beta..idk if its been finalized etc but when i dl'd the beta it looked better but was super slow and i had to uninstall..so im sticking with chrome i like many of the small features much better then the other browsers ive used.
Opera 10 alpha
I use both IE7 and Firefox. When one of the stops working then i just switch to the other, and vise versa
firefox and opera :)
I started the switch from IE a couple of days ago.
For some st*pid reason IE starting crashing every single day at least once. Flash.OCX or something like that. Couldnt tolerate this anymore and just made the switch to Chrome (3.0.187.0 now Im on 3.0.189.1) and Im really happy.
Only thing I wish I could configurate Windows live Messenger to open chrome when I put check email. Only reason why IE still used (but less now) in my computer.
I've typically used IE, now on IE8 which I really enjoy. Using FF a bit more but didn't in the past because of the long startup times and memory hogging, now that I have a faster box and more memory that isn't an issue. I have been using Opera for my phone and really am starting to enjoy that, messing around with it on my PC some. Chrome is fun to play with but I really haven't used it for any practical surfing.
Wow, so many of you use IE. Please, for the love of god(s) (or spaghetti if you aren't a theist) PLEASE at least use IE8 or better yet switch to a browser with better standards support. Scripting specifically for IE KILLS me.
