isnt that a little excessive thats like 13824 cubic inches thats alot of room,   :eek2:
I want a PA160.4 lol ;)
You can never have enough room. Anyways I may set it up like a duality, considering what I'm looking at has 6 140mm fans in the front, 3 in the back, 4 120mm's in front, 2 in back and 4 on top. Not to mention 4 PSU mounts.
Hrmm, that may be overkill. *shrug* guess it's called xtreme systems for a reason. Either way I'll build a 22" cube w/ 120.3's if Marci doesn't make the 140's. I think my wife is on board w/ me getting a new case since I promised to powder coat this one pink and give it to her.
Would be a 140.3 straight away; would be nice if I could find low noise 140mm fans in the UK. They seem to be as rare as hens teeth around here
I would be very interested in a PA140.2, but I think 140.3 would be near impossible to fit in any normal sized case.
So wierd I was just thinking the other day about 140mm rads.
dunno if this has been said... but why not a shroud for a 160 that fits a 140 fan?
already exist.
he sent me a PM when I inquired about it, lemme see if i can dig it up...

^^ theres the post
considering that Thermochill clearly cant meet demand (ie OOS most places) so they clearly wont be dev'ing a new radiator
I definitely think there is a market for larger more adaptable rads... With as many people that are building custom cases from the ground up... you know there are owners that would go with the "biggest & baddest"...
Something in the lines of a setup that would be capable of linking more than one rad together... like PA 140.2x2 or a 3x3.... even if they went back to the 120mm standard... I would like a 3x3 setup! The rad should be more adaptable than it is... rads are do or die... when it comes to fitting them where you have room.
go for it!
hagatha
i spec'd up just a square case in sketchup and it fits a 140.3 easily mind you its 22" wide. It has enough room for two
At 36" tall and building, my next case ought to dwarf those.
Could easily fit 4x140.3s with a pair of 140.2s in the back and a 120.2 under the PSU. And it's NOT a cube. When I get the foot on it, I expect it to be near 4 foot tall, and 14 inches wide. It would all JUST fit, but it would fit.
where is Marci when hes needed ? :D maybe he can put some light on this
Lian Li P80 has 3 140 MM fans in the front of the case.
Arf it seems googling around for 140mm rads just finds this thread :/ I'm looking at the Thermaltake Armor+ (Great reviews and I quite like it's features) which allows for two 140mm fans to be mounted on the bottom as intake which would be perfect for a 140.2 rad >.< Guess I'm gonna have to go with 120.2 in the mean time...
BTW you realize this thread hasn't been touched in almost 7 months?
Great, and i just bought a 120.3 to fit in my PC-P80 armorsuit xD Hehe! Guess ill throw that in the top panel and buy a 140.3 and put it in the front
140.3 :) 140.4 :d
Yeah I know but there's always the thought that continued interest might light a spark in thermalrights dev department ;)
For those who didn't take the time to read the first page, the 140.x are not actually being made, as far as I know they haven't even done a prototype yet, this was simply a discussion :P
