My x1950xtx will returm from RMA soon, that will be the time of putting the watercooling sistem on, so i´m on water, not air ;)
BTW S. Infinity and Ninja are nice hsfs, but if i have to choose, maybe i´d go for a tuniq120 :p:

If you can find a 120. I've contemplated going to water, but everything I want costs too much. Plus, heat isn't a problem yet so I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.Quote:

Everest is not working on my PC, when i was installing al the drivers, programs... ir works. But now, when the main screen shows, windows hangs up, in the speakers i get a loud noise, and have to reboot. I´m in exams now, in a few days i´ll do a clean install and use everest. trust me, before this i use everest all the time, but now is impossible.
so is 450 vs 400fsb ..really a performance improvement...one we actually will see in apps
also..would I see anything significant running 4-4-4-18 vs 4-4-4-12 on my crucial ram..
also did you guys manual set strap to 266, 300 or 333
what is memory speed limit for 266 vs 300 vs 333
Corsair 6400 at stock speed 1T.

I have benched with ddr 1200 cas 4 on the 266 strap to around 425 fsb, you can go higher, at 450fsb on the 266 strap, latency is around 55 or so at 4.585 ghz. Lowest latency came in at 511fsb 333 strap ddr1204 cas 4-4-3-4-8, 51.8ns. The latency plays a big part in the speed of this chipset. Getting below 55 is unrealistic for everyday 24/7 use, but around 57-58 is doable. Gtl ref's around 75-85 work well for me with nb gtl at around default, it's worth finding a sweet spot, but on dual cores the difference is not massive, you gain a more stable benching speed rather than outright stability.
bis screens of ddr1100 cas 4 stable are here, but required a vdimm of 2.46, which is a little high...
thanks for sharing Raju.. very nice results you got there.. :)

I've heard that this mobo can work just fine only with a 4 pin EPS conector. Is that true?
And I still have THIS question:

For winflash 'yes' you can flash with it.
Nice find Abel, seems that DDR2-1100 4-4-3-4-1-2-20 is slower than DDR2-1000 4-4-3-3-1-2-20Quote:

Like Eva2000 said in his review strange stap evolution with this card. I think is due to bios options but can't figure which ones:confused:
post your dram config here if you can..
Korby: 4 pin psu connection works fine on this motherboard and it didn't seem to lower my overclock at all.
Good, nice to know. :D The mobo will come tomorow, but I'll have to wait a while for the CPU & memory. :(
Thanks.
What kind of NB water blocks there are on the market for this mobo? (except DD new bolck desingned for this mobo- we can't get this one in EU)! ;)
I used the Swiftech MCW30 with the provided intel clips, and it fits fine.

Thanks, but it's hard to see how it's mounted! ;)
Now is not mounted, in a few days it will be. Photos and benchs coming soon.

Both fits. I get mine tomorrow (the second) and i will provide photos.
Which BIOS seems to be the best for this motherbard?
There´s only 2 BIOS available... 12/22 fix some RAID issues and improve 1T overclocking, so thats it.
i hope there is a new bios on it's way that might improve oc and fixa so i can turn off the pc because it only restarts after a few seconds, there is prolly an answer here somewere:)
