Update:
The pot is extremly good! It's a lot of fun to bench with it ln2... it holds load of quadcore without problem. But the quadcores using a lot of ln2 -> 100 liters in 12 hours :D
impressions:
200 liters ln2 dewar, filled with 100 litres:

LN2 Session by Duke/Entsafter/gianni-gt OCTS
impressive tank !
nice bench rig !
We didn't have only one rig:
Intel System (gianni-gt was running an amd setup)
2x QX6700, Xeon 3060 (and a lot of other cpus)
2x P5B Deluxe, 2x EVGA 680i, Asus Striker Extreme
4x 8800GTX
a lot of DDR666-DDR1000 D9 ram (D9GMH and D9GKX)
2x Dragon Evo, 1x mousepot rev.1, 2x otternose's pot, 2x piotres 8800gtx tubes, 2x jans gpu cooper pots
We had a lot of troubles and wasn't able to run the quads with higher voltage than 1.70v (1.75-1.88 wasn't good for OC)...
So we could only reach 4650Mhz 3DMark06 (3700 would probably have been stable, but we run out of ln2)...
We didn't have ln2 to cool the 8800gtx -> prepared them with vmods and coolers..
Well i guess you should post more pictures! love to watch the Evo's in action!Quote:

145 Euro for the ln2 (1.45 per litre)
65 Euro for transport (dewar and ln2)
1.60 Euro per day for dewar
Well it sure lookt like u guys had a lot of fun with a lot of expansive hardware :P
Looks like you guys had a blast there :D
Glad you like the unit. It can handle quadcore quite well. Slowly getting into the swing of things again after taking some time off and was playing with my Quadcore on the EVO tonight with some 3dmark2006 and single 8800gtx with very mild card clocks, really just focusing on pushing the chip. Should have some 5.1ghz runs done soon and with my best VGA clocks pushing the card hard, close to 19k single 06' should go down. SLI numbers will be sick. Broke 7600 cpu score already on another run:

Nice quad, lapped yet?
Also, have you tried the Zalman grease?
I will run the evo again with the 680i board we used. Ill see if I can match you on cpu.
I'm still working on getting a board, once I do I will have a go and give the results of my test, all of my testing will be done by feel, which I'm pretty good at wingin' it. :)
Kingpin, how long time did you use on the design, and who inspiered you in the progress?
You are on of my favorite OC'ers in the world, and has for sure inspired me to manage clocks I didn't expect myself to manage!
let the testing begin ! got me a prescott and 20L lnē so the dragon hass gone get in a fight ^^

over:banana::banana::banana::banana:ed LNē whet from -158°C to -175°c and then -192°C all in 3sec :p: .
the X6800 is ready for some benching to ;)
Good luck !Quote:

there goes my fun for this weekend
Ouch that's very sad :(
Unlapped quad chip still and no I haven't tried the zalman grease. Better than ceramique FUG?Quote:

Are you talking about the Zalman STG1 Thermal Compound? The specs say -45*C, does it work with lower temps?
5200mhz Quadcore EVO2.2 LN2 cooled CPUZ screenshot 4 cores fully enabled :D :

Well, no need to be un-civil or have disrespect towards each other....especially in my thread :slapass:. Of course the best samples of hardware are used for most of the top WR's we see ...that's always pretty much been the case regardless of cooling.
Skills and experience play a big part in it too. I am posting my results to show what my EVO unit is capable of in the right hands with a decent chip.
I put alot of r&d into designing a "capable" smaller unit and I'm quite proud of it, but I still have the utmost respect for others including MM for what he has done with his units. No need for trash talking others work, even though it's been done to my work in the past.
That being said, Evo rev2.3 is done and currently bench testing.. it is leaner and meaner than ever :D...pics soon.
Also in the machining process of a new semi-full-sized copper LN2 unit that is diff than anything I've done yet, gonna be a real monster :D.
It's being cut from a 13lb copper block lol.
