the one thing I am skeptical about is the fact that they are 'ES' chips, which are known to OC a lot higher then retail, with most boards.

There seems to be a popular myth about ES chips. They are not necessary better or faster. In fact, the retail X6800 has generally proven to be faster than the ES version. Most of the people who believe this myth probably have never used an ES chip.

Overclocking is also very dependent on the person doing it, as well as his skills or lack thereof.

Agreed. Maybe coolaler should start charging a fee for every test people want him to run.

Nice one......:)

I would like to say to all, not to expect a very high fsb from 975X chipset......It's a bit "old".....newer (and slower) 965 can climb high as for the fsb......It's not any manufacturing company's fault......It's just that the 975X chipset is "old"......
Nevetheless this particular board seems to be the next IC7 as for me.....;)

Hehe, hipro5 has always liked Abit.;) The results so far on this board have been decent. But I was able to run 470-475FSB with the P5WDG2 WS Pro. 975X boards usually need to be modded to go over 500.

Especially for that picture of the 2* GFX's :)
It seems theres no way to get a debug or soundcard in the PCI slot :(

However the results are nice, I'd might just buy this baby for benching ;)

That I don't know. I needed only 1.55v on the Asus board to do 470-475.

Nice Board! The 3d06-Score is very nice, BUT in 3d05 even i got a higher Score at Stockspeeds(6600-p5wdh-7900gx2@13684):confused: Maybe Abit slows down the Subtimings on high FSB???
