Sounds like its a decent board, but untill the bios matures Ill be sticking away from it. Im not planing on going conroe just yet, but I wana push my 630 a lil bit more. Im hoping to see at least 400fsb capabilities from it in a cupple of bios revisions.

Ill be jumping on the 800fsb conroe when it comes out so that should gain me some very decent clocks.

well, the DS3 is having it's own share of issues... this was my first build/overclock, and i got to 3.8 GHz already on my D 805... i'm happy:D

Ok, replacement board is here. There is newer beta bios but I will not have it until Monday. My Taiwan contact took today off yet he mentioned it in his last email without sending it.

I have a multitude of high end heat sinks and Ill do first tests with X6800 and $39.00 mini typhoon. I have a E6400 handy to confirm max FSB.

I also have a request in for a grip of Uguru's. Id like to give some away to the Abit owners who can use them.

Hopefully put the board under cascade by the end of the weekend.

I have an abit board now. How about a Uguru for me? Would look nice with my project pc Look at my signature if you want see the project. And hell Ill even get an ab9pro to go with it if I can find it in my budget (student loans are killing me)

If you don't mind dude could you throw up that beta BIOS somewhere as soon as you get ahold of it? I've been testing out this board for the last couple of days and havn't been able to get much out of it because it doesn't like my OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum. I've been talking to a couple of guys at OCZ and Tony over there is testing out this board as well. I think they are going to send me the new Rev. 2 stuff to test out to see if it does better. I will post a mini-review of my own once i get this thing running stable past stock speeds.

And i'm a new Abit owner that can always use free stuff!! :D

I hate to be beggy, but that would be REALLY nice for me, would help with my n00b overclocking skills;)

I've had no luck with my OCZ DDR2-800 modules on this board. Going to try something else.

completely alright tictac. But the weird thing with those two boards is some overclock insanely high, and others just don't Like mine. Can't break 255FSB. Hence looking at the ab9 pro. Plus its an upgrade path to Conroe

Uh, what's the multiplier on the 930? because isn't 255 FSB kinda high for a 930 D overclock? EDIT: didn't see you had water..

Really? And what BIOS are you using? 1.1? I can't figure out what's the matter with mine. I havn't seen anyone else on the Abit forums having much luck with the board yet ither when it comes to overclocking. I'll see if i can't get an RMA from OCZ for something else to try on this board.

When are we going to see this review of yours so i can find out what kind of FSB you're getting?

conroe overclocking, or overclocking period? I like my PD overclock (it's dual prime stable :fact: )

oh.... i got C1 error with OCZ gold (pc6400). i guess i'll buy good 256M stick or something and change bios settings to see if i can boot up :(

i went to a local fry's and picked up Kingstone DDR2 (533, 512M) for cheap (one that can work at 1.8v). I was able to fire up the AB9pro with this stick. I then updated the BIOS, bump vol to 2.2 and OCZ gold 2G sticks are good to go. more testing to continue...
