OK, so those are my final-final results until I get a vdimm mod going for some 2.7v+ action.
Now, other F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ kits may do better or worse. This is just to show that those clocks can be reached with up to 2.5v but not neccessarily and likely not every kit will be as good. I have no idea about average clocks for this particular line but it seems like DDR2-1066+ 8-4-4-4.0-2T is common.
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe (nForce570 SLI), BIOS 0304
AMD AM2 Athlon 3200+ "Orleans"
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
EVGA 7800GT KO 256MB @ 490+30/1390, ForceWare 84.21, Modified driver settings (High Performance)
G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ "0605", Micron D9XXX
MAX fully stable DDR2 8-4-4-4.0 clocks reached ---> DDR2-1140 @ 2.5v

wow, i look forward to my kit. should be here in a day or two. whats the deal with the 'old' and 'new' micron D9 chips? whats the difference?
at least bachus is hitting these on non-bad axes...is there some sort of bug with those boards or something whats the deal?

tHESE ARE NOT FATTY D9 ICs
THESE ARE NEWER REVISIONS.
and they seem to run with less volts then fats, which is a god thing
None of the G.Skill's were Fatbody...Quote:

If 0605 are D9, 0606 still are, rigth??
Wow, I see these sticks rule  But aren't youy afraid of using the voltage of 2.5V? Isn't it dangerous for the chips? Which voltage is safe for the Micron D9 (not FB) chips for the everyday use?
Everything from 0605 (which includes 0606) should be D9. So you're safe to go with your 0606 kit.Quote:

D9 is just a code for "Micron DDR2" and doesn't means anything about performance!!
I think you should stay under 2.3v and with a cooling fan for 24/7Quote:

But you should be able to give 2.8v without killing it when benching.
Ordered me some F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ from the egg, should be here tomorrow. I'll try them out in my current rig, since it can only go up to 2.3vdimm let's see what they can do.
My 606 just arrived:toast:

I`m having some 3D stability issues here. BF2 is the worst. Can`t get stable over DDR2 800:stick: .
Whats safe voltage for these modules?
wow those are damn sexy and the price sure isnt bad at all,, infact its smokin... i may have to break down.
anyone had any issues with any of the conroe boards currently out aside from thebad axe which seems to be working just fine ?
im hearing people say the 965 boards are really picky
0.01v before they burst into flames. http://1000smilies.com/babies/onfire.gifQuote:

got some in a p4 system(p4's just to use till i get a conroe) today. haven't thoroughly tested at all yet, trying to find cpu and mem limits, cpu seems to do 4.5Ghz (930 duallie, pretty fast actually) on air. mem seems to do around, well its passed a few super pi 1mb's at 1060 5,5,5,15, 1020 4,4,4,15 with ranging from 2.15 to 2.3v on the new asus 975x conroe board. tbh i don't know aht all the best settings are, have ignored p4's, intel boards and ddr2 for the last 2 years so just messing around at the moment.
with asus bios options, what do all the other settings do with the performance/turbo like options in mem section of bios? what can i use to see timings in windows? memset won't open, newest cpu-z won't show command rate cl through trc are shown in cpu-z. what else can i use?
