whew glad it's SLI, about to have a heart attack. And spend some money ><
Wait for tomorrow by 3 o'clock...new drivers will be released i think with the press release of the 7900...:D
Nice scores! This is with stock cooling right?
Is this the max you can get out of them unmodified?
Things are rolling good man... Good scores!
I read on many forums that we should wait until drivers mature to see the real performance.
But as this is just a die shrink i just dont see that happen.
Its not like X800 -> X1800 or such..
Or am i wrong ?
yes it is a die shrink but they also did a bit of refinements on the GPU

Does 550 on core so I assume 600Mhz probably when the user gets it .. if the GT does have 24 pixel pipelines then this could be a real bargain ....Quote:

damn if them core clockspeeds that 7900GT CO Super-Clocked got are also doable for most 7900GTs this card could b a real great card. and that price of 340 aint half bad.
and at 550mhz core it actualy uses that small heatsink :slobber:
seems Nvidias move to 90nm was nicely.
Scroll down for pictures of 7900GT & 7900GTX

Yields must have improved significantly with 90nm what with all these 24-pip GPU:s... or 24-pipe's not the end of it.?
Thread Unstuck.
