I have better temps and capacity with cascade now.
507B - R1150/409 - R14
one day when i have money and alot of time, i might start learning about all this chiller/cascade/LN2 stuff, its really fascinating reading about it, but is very daunting to a newb like me, all i have is terratec watercooling on my CPU and GPU with poor overclocks, so i got alot to learn lol.
thx for the prompt replies :)
if you look at the list, the japs have already been beaten.Quote:

Your local university ought to have them.
Just know that
R13
R502
R1150
=cold.
Surely he cant go to cold though, im near sure i read on here somewhere else that after a temp goes to low the CPU wont boot.
the chipset was only cooled by a simple fan??tell me i'm wrong plz!! :slobber: :banana4:
please fugger post at lease one cpu bench or memory from sandra
FUGGER,
i need your help here.
abit off topic but i'll try my luck anyway, ive got a pm shooting towards u already.
i have a question.. how did u manage to post the 570jES chip on the dfilp875pt?
ive read thru dfi street but ppl are suffering from probs like black screeen....as in the system doesnt post at all.
AFAIK the chip defaults at 14x...evenso ppl have been experiencing black screeens...
y so? i thought only the 19x multi doesnt work well.
thanks in advance pal!!
desperate here!
fugger this board rocks and these 2.8 are really worth it.
Just got it ran some benches.
This board is also a killer.
blew up my booster. :banana4:
PH, The unlocked multiple allowed me to fire up with 18x multiple. If I tried the 19x the system would not post.
DFI is working hard on a new bios for us.
fugger, you're saying your chip default started at 18x multi?Quote:

anything that u dont mind sharing will do for all of us =D
thanks!

But you should use them with caution since these gasses can be dangerous.
I think you could get some of those gasses from refrigerator repair men since refrigerators need to be refilled some times and refrigerators use those gasses.
I wouldn't know what use a college has for it though
Fugger, what do you think of the new Abit Fa1tality mobo?
Got a video camera?Quote:

If the 20s screenshot has been posted somewhere else, forgive me and please let me know?
(I saw a screenshot of 5.7Ghz patched run @ 23s, how is 5.9Ghz suddenly 20s ?)
^maybe hes using a different ram divider?
Perhaps, I don't know. Why wouldn't he use 4:5,it would give him 250Mhz for the RAM if the guy has ram that can do 260+ ?
I'm not accusing anyone on anything, all i'm looking for is some proof.
Yep, was using 4:5 divider @ 5.9Ghz and lot of voltage to the DDR around 3.8v iirc.
I was booting into windows at 5.6Ghz and that screen shot is in my other thread. I started a new one when I broke 6Ghz. Its easy to fake in bios at 5.6Ghz?
There is no screen shot as the mobo failed.
I do not have the 3.6E anymore and sitting on a 3.8E ES that I do not have a bios that supports it.

Hey fugger nice overclocks although those japs are at your heels. i put your cpu-z 6315.2mhz as my desktop picture. I have got a amd 2600+ overclocked to 2393mhz with an aeroflow cpu cooler. 1024mb ram and a 9800xt for which i play doom 3.
Have u tried games at benchable speeds ( 5.5ghz ( or more) )
U know it makes my pc with a antec case look like a piece of junk compared to your computer.
I ve tried overclocking my proccesor to 2403mhz but it won't load xp its not the temp (48 degrees celcius) fsb @208mhz.
the multipler is locked at 11.5 there are ways of unlocking but is too risky.
Keep it up u dont want the japs beating us at everything by the way what temp is the intel 3.6 at 6.3ghz with your cooler.
by the way ive just read 22 pages of u guys. that unknown guy was jealous of you.
Just wanted to ad a welcome to xtreme kid

Welcome to XtremeSystems and thanks. I game on the first rig in my sig.
Pic of my gaming rig can be found here.

Came in fourth place at CPL E3 contest.
fugger you bloody own gongrats from the uk
if i had some money i'd get all this top gear and try some extreme stuff :(
ever hear of a budget overclocking rig?
*pats 2400+ mobile at 2.7*
any chance of a 939 64 ? @ 4.0ghz ? please..... congrats man.... :toast:
Fugger is an intel boy... hehe
Someones gotta give the slower chips some love. :/Quote:

What benches have you run on it past 6GHz?
I would love to see what that thing can do.
Keep up the great work!
Thats just inzane!
hey the reason ur compressor died is cuz ur letting liquid return to it. u need to add a part i can't remember wut its called to make the liquid boil off b4 it gets to the compressor
hey fugger ... dfi juz came out wif a bios that is said to be fix the 19x multi problem.. supports 570j (3.8ghz)
http://www.angrygames.com/files/875PT1230.zip
see if u could get some clocks in on the 570j chip!!
Hmm. Im on it.
This should be very interesting! :p:Quote:

True... they're all EO steppings though, so I would say the odds are pretty good.Quote:

God damn i wish that those 570J's werent so expensive......it would take a lot for me to sell this board for the DFI 875P-T, but I think I'd have a hard time forking over more then $900 for the 570....even if it would be fun as hell once/if I get my vapo. :(Quote:

thats alot...
holy :banana::banana::banana::banana:roach batman...that's retarded!!! :slobber:
there is some skeptisism towards that thread about that "Pentium 5 Tejas", if he had run CPU-Z to show us it would of been more believable.
then again that jap guy might be a highly respected overclocker and i dont even know it and i'm making a twat of meself :D
that's really fast....
but why only 22s?
That pi seems a bit slow.
I installed the new DFI bios and it is not working with the 570J. I cannot boot with the 19x multiple still.
even at low FSB's?
man... :(
Reading about Fugger's exploits over the past year has more then provided me with enough faith in all his results but I really don't trust the Jap man - or any other person for that matter unless they have a good reputation.
A streamed video with the system would satisfy me.
I dont understand what is the problem to recognize a 19x with the dfi, on the asus boards no problem
I want a explanation if possible "logical"
weird
Same idea as amd boards and 4-vid vs. 5-vid possibly?Quote:

Since when did 22sec Spi look slow? :D
Maybe you should let the DFI go and see how far you can get with the ASUS mobo? ;)
Would be interesting to finally see some benches at plus 6G w/ your chip.
Scuse but wth are you talking about? both of the screenshots clearly indicate 1024KB cache and 512MB RAM.Quote:

He is talking about CrystalCPUID naming the chip "Pentium 5 Tejas". The last thing we heard about that chip was that it had been canned, and why release the Tejas before the P4 6xx :confused:Quote:

Maybe he used CrystalCPUID because it has a feature CPU-z or WCPUID dont have?
Just the program reading it wrong i'd say.
Where can i find that pic about tejas
so no problem between cpuz and the 570J :confused:Quote:

Hey everyone, I'm new here and have really been enjoying the wealth of information in this forum. Some of the things you folks have achieved is remarkable. Keep up the great work - especially you Fugger.
The 6xx series is Intel's next P4-line, like we have 5xx now (eg 570 = 3.8), where we'll see 2MB L2 and so on.Quote:

Therefore i think it's very very weird, that a P5 Tejas should suddenly appear, BEFORE we have had any samples of the 6xx series. :stick:
i cant wait till we see the successor to the dothan/centrino, imagine fugger getting a hold of something like that under a cascade :slobber:

The only probarly differance will be the name (duh) and a higher clock speed or a new way of makin the chip as good as a higher clock speed ( ie like amd) i thought they were making dual core p4s
ie, two cpus in one
i wonder wat amd is tinkering on............. 128 bit, nah but that would be heaps cool!
oh and wat would be better a amd fx 55 or a amd 64 4000+ i think the fx 55
why doesnt any1 have a quad cpu motherboard
im from australia so,.. g,day! when i post this it is 12:19 am my time
Like i stated above, Intel has officially canned, deleted and stopped working on Tejas. They clearly told us, that it would NOT come.Quote:

he uses a custom 3 stage cascade cooler.
Ya it is a three stage cooler, with the last two stages both containing R1150..
Dry ice and LN2 are usually poured into a copper cup attached to the cpu and gpu
prometeia and vapochill units are single stage phase change, capable of -50c on average.
Here is the thread on my three stage cascade.
thankx 4 all of u who have reply my thread now i understand a little bit but can u plz tell me that whats that mean single stage , double stage or a three stage coolers ??? can single stage means 1 compressor and double stage means use two compressors use for cpu cooling .... thanku

Wow, ppl are still congratulating him for it......LOL
Its one of the many instances that define XS as truly Xtreme.
FUGGER of XS did it first, then the rest followed the leader ;)
