Also those stickers powered by Asus and Intel Core2 look out of place with a DFI 939 mobo... :D
Definitly there will be lose in performance if the video card is running at the top slot of the DFI motherboard. highly recommends you to switch it.
Performance loss is very small, my guess is like 3-5% which i can live with. I can't fit it in the other slot as my NB heatsink is too big, and there are no HR-05 SLI heatsinks to be found locally at the moment.Quote:

Guys, there will be almost zero loss running in the bottom slot if he changed the jumpers on his motherboard from 16x / 2x (Non-SLi) to 8x / 8x (SLi Mode).
can a 8800gtx fit in a lexa?

You use the HR03 passively on your 1950XT..? What are your temps with it?
Its not completly passive, the white fan is blowing from right to left across it at about 800rpm@20cfm-ish.
Hitting around 55C load after long time of gaming.

But perhaps a push-pull assembly of the cpu-heatsink's fans could still help a bit.

The air shouldn't be really "hot", but rather lukewarm. And airflow with lukewarm air is still better than no airflow. ;)Quote:

My rig, no oc as of now
the 2 fans in the drive bays lowered temps a good 10C
