10/10 mbit optic fibre :)
Im on a 512k/255k Business line at my house, should be getting a faster line soon, although my house can only go up to ~5.5mb/s.
TW Roadrunner Premiere 9Mb/900Kbit at home
Work: Fios 16/2
It is sent from the building owners residence to the work building 1 mile away via wireless G and roof antennas. It maintains about 10mb down and 2mb up :) He still thanks me all the time for setting it up. :D The fastest they normally have in that business park is DSL 384k/128k :slapass:
atm I have 1Mbit external (hope for 2Mb soon) and god knows what locally, 100Mb I guess. Not too bad for $9/month (phone included).

100/100 megabit/s @ home and the same at school.
100mb down 10 up
i have crappy dsl.. sigh...
I have FIOS now the 15Mbit down and 2 Mbit up. Its a package deal with phone line with unlimited long distance and FIOS TV with 250+ channels for $109 a month here in Garland TX.

i have the same thing, minus the tv and phone. although im lobbying the rest of my family hard to get rid of this crappy dish network stuff and get fios tv. i mean, we have to pay extra for each reciever, but for the most part, no one here watches tv, and even if we wanted, it has no channels worth watching lol.

download problems made by the german tcom. :slapass:
Imma on 256kbps :(.
Night speeds at around 6mbps DL though :P.
UL = 64kbps. (On a Single stream, and I can get multiple streams, lol)
Fios 5/2 ($30)

My download speed is awesome. My upload is not so good. I get super pings on game servers in the US and not so bad pings on foreign servers. I really wish my upload was faster... this image has the "Comcast boost" which is great for small files but the upload drops to a real 40 kB/s up. :(

i pay for 3mbit dsl in germany about 45$. ;)

I'm thinking of getting cable if my wallet was fatter :(
http://www.speedtest.net/result/162040397.png
must be working on the lines they have been upgrading from copper to Fiber
not bad for a 7 mb 42.00 plan on the DL too bad my 512 UL is a tad small but Iam not going to b!tch.
I'm on 56k. The cable company left out my street when they put services through the entire town (Thanks Persona) so I still get those brochures advertising their broadband like everyone else in the town but I can't get it, which sucks.
I am on 256k DSL for now. Changing that to 512k. Theres not even a 2 Mbps Unlimited plan around here for domestic use and a 1 Mbps plan costs an arm and a leg.

I got cable
im on THE worst ISP in the world... Virgin Media. Im SUPPOSED to be on 20mbit but i've never seen over 10mbit download's even from news groups.
When it was blueyonder it was awesome but since Virgin got there grubby little mitts on it then its all gone downhill. (including the >3gb d/l between 4pm - 12pm = capped to 5mbit) *sigh*
I pay £37 a month for that pile o' rubbish aswell
I'm using dial-up right now :( :( :( :( :(
My connection of ADSL2+
http://www.speedtest.net/result/165779930.png

Cox cable. It does well... I download at 1MB/sec for $42.95 a month. Yes it is megabyte not megabit. :)

For $70 a month this sucks, but I have no other choise as I need a static IP and comcast/ATT won't give me one.
http://www.speedtest.net/result/171631255.png
Thats what I get at work in New Orleans Post katrina @ work. Sadly, I have 1.5 / 256 DSL @ home and Bellsouth doesn't carry anything better. The cable connection goes out in my neighborhood constantly, so I won't even bother. I want 3.0/384 or 6.0/768, but having cable internet isn't worth it, plus charter cable is a B%#$~!
http://www.speedtest.net/result/171919610.png
I get this at home: 1.5 up / 256 down, at least SHOULD be.
5851 kb/s Down
285 kb/s Up

I thought I was doing pretty good until I saw most of the rest of your results. $50 a month.
http://www.speedtest.net/result/181379938.png

http://www.speedtest.net/result/194561649.png
The upload is supposed to be 1mbit though, still troubleshooting that. Ping is terrible also.
This is from a couple months ago through Comcast broadband in the Bay Area:
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4665/65bw2hk5.jpg
Fixed it. Now getting 900-950 up which is the best I can do.
http://www.speedtest.net/result/198437246.png
I don't now why my upload is so different, totay it's about 270kb/s (yesterday 410kb/s). :(
This is my connection here at the university

i've got a 5mbit cable broadband. Sux hard as for me, LAN connection is an only really good way to connect to the Web. 20-22$ in dollars per month. It suxx too, since if i'd change the provider, i could have 10 mbit LAN for the same price and 100mbit Latvian\4mbit to everywhere else lan connection for about a 30$. And again it suxx - in Riga(capital of Latvia, 35 km from me) there are providers who offer 100mbit world/10 mb world lan connections for the money im currently paying. And also for 70$ or so you can gain access to provider's own network resources capped "only" @ 1 gbit. So, as you can see, multiple providers fighting for their place in not so large towns and optical network infrastructure rules :)
Since my damn narrow broadband i wouldn't show any speedtest' results of mine. Instead, look @ what my acquaintance from Riga is getting for only a few bucks more that amount of money i'm(actually - my family is) paying. Is it fair? =\

P.S. And about the speedtest.net... open it's main page, select the "Top 5 Countries", check who is @ 3rd place. :p:

Work, cable at home is miles better.
But yeah these tests don't prove much, a few days of monitoring would be a better indicator... would draw out bandwidth spikes & shaping.

Transferring 100MB file over FTP to/from server in Southern California:
13902 Kbit/s (1737 KB/s) down
2243 Kbit/s (280 KB/s) up
Comcast packages include PowerBoost feature where downloads up to 50MB and uploads up to 30MB transfer at about 50% higher speeds. In those cases I get up to 25600 Kbit/s down and 3200 Kbit/s up. Therefore above results from SpeedTest.net do not show a complete picture, but only peak transfers with PowerBoost kicking in...

I dumped Sprint Broadband for Comcast Cable as soon as it was available... Never been happier.
Sprint sucked for me, the <128k upload was the deal breaker for me.
Then again this was a few years ago.
