yikes, floating keyboard,...
yikes floating keyboard? Yikes thumb-ball! :P to each his own :) Nice set up.
Reminds me of my old Antec 900 and GTX280. Nice case but was to hard to work in with constant upgrades and changes to my system.
Yeah I need a full tower, either antec 1200 or Haf 932. Will see what I can get lol

ULTRA really make cpu coolers or it's some custom plate covering it?
Beloe dude, you gotta find another place to host your pictures, they are taking FOREVER to load on my computer. I have a 15mb cable line too!
The Blue CCFL in the 900 looks magnificent - I think I'll do something similar with my 1200 - subtle and effective, nice job mate.
I am counting like 4 desktops and a laptop there.
Waht are you doing with all of them?
"Computurd"
Nice setup mate, love where you Radiator is sitting
Thanx darren, it is a honda radiator, a little bit modded of course, i love the look of it, it is almost kinda retro looking...cools like a beast, i like it on the desk its like a conversation piece.
@JaccoW actually a server, a xps, a big i7 rig all underneath the desk. up top is the uber rig, really the HAF comp and the rack are the only two hooked to monitors, but they are both hooked to all three simultaneously, my monitors have multiple connections apeice, i usually use the HAF and XPS for side rigs when friends over for LAN fun. that is the older lappy, there is a studio 1535 lurking about as well...all hooked up on a gigabit network so file transfers, media streaming, and connections to the windows home server are fast as F@@@. Also game on the big screen for kicks from time to time...super nerd hangout:up:
here is my main rig..DEFCON-ONE:

beautifully done and that case is massive. The room, everything is nicely done. Amazing work
That is exceptionally done. Especially for the Noctua front fans, the color truly blends with the cleaness of the case.
Geez got your monitor close enough to your face LOL it looks good though nice work
Thanks guys! :)
Oh, and I thought ergonomics or whatever says that your monitor should be one arms length away and your eyes should be level with about 3/4 of the way to the top of the screen.
Maybe this doesnt apply to big arse 32" screens though...

Zorlac I hate you for been such an organized person with a perfect looking workstation lol
how are those P14s?
It does on mine but I turned it back just because I am weird about how things look lol.
Plus my temps only went up a few Cs and my max temp I have seen so far is 50C on the first two cores so I am fine with that. It usually sits around 40 or 45 when I play games depending on the game.
The 140mm Noctuas are definitely quieter than the 120mm. That is all I care about heh.
And as for my headphone gear, thanks! Wouldnt have been possible without help and support from the folks at Head-fi.org!
Zorlac that is soo simplistic and minimalist, I love the look of your work station.
Very nice from either side.
great color co-ordination too.
I also like the PSU cover.
Thanks for sharing it.

It looks like carbon fibre. Quite a few people have made stuff out of it.
It's 3M dry carbon sticker... :)
http://www.th-shopping.com/img/p/40-158-thickbox.jpg
nzbleach - that is BADASS bro! I love that Corsair flat black case. I actually pulled the trigger on the pre-order and then cancelled when it kept getting delayed. Im such a Lian Li fanb0i that its pathetic, but this Corsair case could change that ;) You like the case? LOVE the look of your build man!!! \m/
jizz in my pants...
I don't think it make PSU Cooler than usual.
To prevent sticking the label, you can use masking tape before carbon sticker.
I don't sure about void the warranty. But if you carefully remove the sticker before send it to claim, It'll be okey.
ps. I've never care about warranty, I care only make my computer beautiful. :)
wow, nice work in Corsair 800D

Karam: Man that truly is freakin' nice case! :) I was rather surprised that you installed musashi to your graphics card instead of sticking on the stock that would have blown the hot air out from your little case.
Awesome little case there Karam, I usually don't like wooden cases they seem sloppy and wood doesn't suite electronics.
But ur case is very neat and simplistic, has an asian feel to it, I do like asian woodwork and their minimalistic architecture etc.
It also packs a punch with the hardware in it, good for gaming while being compact & very stylish....damn I need a mAtx build.
karam, MOAR pics
MOAR.......
Fast and Beautiful!
Excellent work Karam, did You realy build it Yourself?
It has a very nice finish.
thanks puunakki :)
You're totaly right about the stock cooler, but my ears can't stand its noise, actually, the temps with the musachi are quite the same as with the stock cooler, but it's noiseless :p:
cheers hewi
matx ftw :D
clic on my sig ;)
thanks HWaddict
of course i did it myself :D
all the pics of the construction are in my gallery :)
that little box is just simply.....
...amazing!
That little box is bad@$$! I love how you made pass-through connectors for power. Very smart. More pictures please!
Great overall setup Karam. Your case is a perfect example of less is more and really brings simplicity and beauty together. Hats off to your work there!
Karam, great job, man, very nice
wow, that's some amazing work !
I love the external psu, and that size and simplicity.... wow
Then, you realise its a I7 with 5850.....

Thanks TadZilla ;)
This system is not realy finished... There are still some details that have to be changed.
It is not really a worklog (and in German): Xien16 HTPC II
I would also be interested in seeing a work log for your build Xien16.

lol
Exactly
Xien16 are those speakers originally ment to be in a car? They look carspeakers to me:confused:
Love the work with mesh
They look great and were quite cheap so I used them for the soundsystem.
If car or TV-set, the function is the same :D
Here is insides of my computer at the moment, enjoy :)
