SOme update 14800 .. HD4850 with VGPU pencilmod 1,44Vcore at load. Its odd that the memory clock raises too if i put more juice to the GPU, original was 1100MHz, now with updated Vcore it gives 1225MHz.. and these settings I found with CCC automatic overclock .. so it was quickrun :) Perhaps some tweaking to break 15k. I have modded bios in it(upperlimits in CCC etc). Im going with original cooling too :D With window wide open ofcourse. I probably get my accelero S1 next week, so more testing coming up.
Nice gain though.
Here you go guys :D Just a new bios with 990MHz limit in CCC, automated clock gave 865 but I wasnt able to run that high because of the heat, at the end of first 3dmark test it gave so much artifacts that it stalled. I think its because the heat, because the artifacts were multiplying as the test ran to an end. And the memory is at its CCC limit.. :( I had a bios with core limit of 800 and memory 1300, then I could run like 790/1225MHz. .now with the new bios 865 and only 1200... it has something to do with the signatures or smth, had to flash with 4870 signature which had 990core and 1200 memory, altought memory could go higher. (if Id OC with ATT more, it crashes just after I push apply.. )
weird stuff.. Hope I find a signatures like 950 CCC core limit and 1300 memory limit.. before that im little stuck
looks like you guys gotta step your game up:rofl:

I wanted to be the first one to post a 20,000+ score with a Phenom II so here it is. It probably wont last long and will get beaten pretty easy by someone (if not me) in the coming days/weeks, but it's nice to see the potential. :D
Phenom II 940 BE (ES) @ 4.0GHz
2x 4870 512MB @ 830/1030 (still have not enabled the third one yet woohoo)
Since I cannot publish the scores with the Phenom II yet all I have is a screen shot.
Nice score, im still working on my new mobo (yes the MA379-T)
Also for UK AMD nutters scan jusst listed both the 920 and 940 for retail in stock. Quite annoying as i was at the trade counter the day earlier :)
BTW Ben you need to update your sig also ;)
back to the drawing board :D I need to push harder on the VGA's and CPU but always running into trouble when trying CF oc or CFX :(

maybe a bit later today as I am preparing session for tomorrow today. but I have to restore my vista first and test some other RAM etc. ;)
Great score guys my kids cars took a dump on them had to fix them use up my cpu money i had set side so it going to be about a month before i can get into the mix with you all again on the 3dmark-06 score any how great job !
The screen shot shows XP and I know I can't publish my compare links on ORB yet so maybe he cannot either.

Looks like you need more cpu power to get a good score from these two beasts. SoF is getting better score with 2x hd 4870...but their cpu is working at higher clocks
Well here is a screen with all three 4870s and some high NB. Not scaling the way I had hoped.
@ Ben Brown
add a lil more HT link speed, 2200 or so and run it again.
I tried six different times to try and run it with 2200, adjusting voltages on just about everything but it would always crash (3DMark06 not the pc)at the same exact spot everytime (right after the second cpu test). Not sure what is causing it other than the higher HT. Any suggestions?

Ben i found myself wth the phenom9850 that to get a stable HT 2200-2400 nb volts around 1.32 & HT 1.30 (not nb-vid)
Well I actually got my HT higher last night. I got it all the way up to 2750 and for the most part either made no difference in score or made it worse overall. I thought that was weird.

how come i canīt boot at 4ghz then???
i saw some screenshots of ur cpu at 4ghz and also some with the nb around 3ghz. i canīt do that with mine... did u boot with those clocks or did u just pull them up with aod and then took a screenshot?

I wish i could get my cpu to overclock as well as your did in vista-64 . I don't know if it the board or cpu maybe vista-64 but more than likely i got my head up my butt try to overclock this thing.
That and some more fine tuning of my system :)
I still have some NB fun to do and memory tweaking, I might try D9GMH for 1GHz+ 4-4-4 run if pushing hard. Also CPU was up for 3.91GHz run but at a time my GFX core was set to 860MHz which was too much for it :(
With slower Phenom 9950 it was possible to do 860 run, with new boy it's a no no!
@merkk1:
Get a Vapo and you will push these clocks :)

Want to hear something weird back when i was running air with my 9850 and change over to water it took a lot more volts to make the 9850 run stable at the same clock speed with water than air .
this was run on one 4850-700/1020, Phenom II 940-3.8ghz/2600HT/2600NB. I am gonna run it on Windows 7 see if it is much different.
Edit: Exact same settings on windows 7 32bit. Almost 200pts different.
