Nice craig, what kind of cooling?
General question for all: Whats the highest vcore an AMD can take without frying it? Just wondering I'm modifying my BIOS.

Its a good chip ... ehh. This chip will do most benchies at 3127 MHz. See my sig for superpi, pifast and 3dmark01.
A R404a system. I always give my A64s 1.7V as if it was the "stock" voltage.Quote:

My CPU: 2800+ CBASC 0413MPM - this is a good week (I tested few and all worked at 2450-2500MHz at 1.5V).
WC-cooled...
2550MHz 1.5V - full stable (Prime95, Superpi, bencharks etc.) 24/7
2700MHz 1.5Vx110% superpi 16M passes at 13'14" - ftp://83.16.182.254/Superpi_16M_13_14.jpg
2727MHz 1.5Vx110% superpi 1M at 32" ftp://83.16.182.254/superpi32s.jpg (I don't like that not exact measure time).

welcome Speedy-J
you could give it a little more voltage on water but not much. it will just overheat and crash if you give it too much.

holy crap. 2.8ghz at 1.6v with air is awesome. I am still working out my new winny but the election keeps distracting me;) I am at 260x10 at 1.6v so far.
:toast: Here's to hoping I can make it close to your clock!
