So far - so good ;) As i just got the sticks today - i have to find out what they can do 1st :p: :rolleyes: , but looks ok so far - already went up to 425 and 450 without a prob ... more to come ...

@nealth: yapp - nice one - Vore is 2 notches higher than needed, just wanted to be sure CPU is not ruin the test ... that one can do 3.8 around 1,45V and 3.8 around 1,5V ... but i have a 3060 that clocks even better. Teh E6600 is lapped and BSel modded, that`s why i use that one for the tests. CPU comes up as 9x333 nice and bright @1,20V :banana:

So you`re doing 450fsb (900DDR) with 4 sticks at 1:1?

Damn you..jeez, I can never get a nice cpu...mines not bad but nothing like what some have gotten...

anyone know why i cant boot memory over 574 mhz im doing 4.4.4.12 574 but i cant do 574 at same timeing or even 5.5.5.15 been working on it for like 2 hours or so then i left the comp off all night came back and it booted 586 5.5.5. .... What is wrong here

They are async right now - not 1:1 as the CPU is @413 now. But as we all know 1:1 (sync) timings are tighther with the 22/12/06 Bios - and so far that is a reason to avoid sync mode, but no Probs when you set in bios the speed manually.

Board is priming @475 (950DDR) with the 4 sticks now ... when i´ve finished the tests as far as i can get - i`ll drop the multi to 8 and try Tonys recomendet "Sweet Spot" of the Board with 8 x 464 - so there is more to come ;) and not enought time to do it. Really time for a 2nd Setup "just" for testing the RD600. Maybe i`ll crab another ICFX3200 on my way back home :cool:

... so Tests are done up to PC8500 (DDR2-1066), so i can say that the board basically has no Probs when 4 sticks are used.

E6600@3,7GHz, RAM@DDR2-1066 (533Mhz Bios)
Ram: 4 x 1GB (G.Skill 2GBJS PC6400)

there are new bios' in the works for RD600...

and new bios' for infinity-965 appears to be supporting 333fsb cpu's ;)

First try with rd600 .518fsb easily but no more..Set fsb with setfsb:D above 518fsb (522 or more) still 518 fsb via cpuz.İs that a bios limit or bug?:)

Have one problem. When i turn off my computer it´s auto boot and i have to turn it off again with the power button. Anyone having the same problems ?
How do i fix it ?

Okay... I think my board is dead.
It wouldn't boot anymore and halts at error "25". Tried everything including clear CMOS, remove batt, unplug ATX and all... still no go.
Finally, after hitting "Insert" repeatedly, it would "beep" once and pass the "25" code until the BIOS appears in the monitor. Then, it would halt at error "7F" where the BIOS asks me to "Press F1 or Del".
I couldn't get past the "7F" code anymore.

FYI, I didn't flash BIOS and the board worked just great before I had this problem. The only thing I was doing prior to this was swapping out for a Swiftech MCW30 chipset waterblock, and the board worked fine after the MCW30.

Any idea what went wrong? I think I may have to request for a new BIOS chip from DFI.

Curious what voltages were you running on the mobo..not cpu

I'm not too sure as I didn't power the board for about a week. Might be about 1.7~1.9V-ish. The board never runs more than a couple hours and I mainly use it for benching.

so what do you use for everyday use?

Tony has stated DFI feels anything over 1.5v can lead to killing the chipset..so it is possible the chip is damaged

No... the RD600 is only powered up for benching. I have another rig for my everyday use.
I suspect that the chip could be damaged, but it should not be able to completely power up if the chip happens to be damaged. Maybe its just a borked BIOS, I hope.
