The answer is yes to PCClub, 63's and 64's only, so far. The 6400 was way overpriced; $329. I didn't even ask what the 6300 was.

Fry's is having that $499 Bad Axe/6400 deal. I'm tired of waiting and picked that up. not a great deal, but not outright theft, either. Figure 250 for the retail CPU, $250 for the mobo. I may return it. We'll see, I have 15 days to see how the chip does in my DS3 ( and test the Bad Axe ).

$419 is somewhat tempting as otherwise I am spending $96 for an 805 to use for the week or so till Tankguys can get it in (assuming the distributers actualy start getting processors and its not just those who have direct access to Intel)

Ordered from microcenter over the phone earlier today, too bad you can't check the status of your order online, but i'll probably call them tomorrow to check in on it, says itl ship within 1-3 days and with $11 overnight, should be here by Friday, if not, ill be less than pleased ^.^

I think those are all OEM, my local had e6600's in today but sold out. They said retails should be arriving later this week, maybe even tomorrow! yay

I really think E6300 prices will settle out @ 199 by the end of the week. And E6400 should bottom out at 239 by Friday, too. Now Fry's, PCClub, etc... will always have 10-15% higher prices just cuz that's the way it is.

Microcenter is interesting because they're NOT in CA and I won't get charged tax.

Its not a matter of if you win or not. You can get it done with one call if you approach it correctly. Otherwise prepare to get hung up on 10 times first. Possibly even having to write a letter to get the attention of somebody that matters. Your wasting your time. You might get lucky in 1 or 2 calls but don't hold your breath. Crying like a baby rarely helps.

Are you sure about that? So if I order online, get local pickup, its tax free? That would be sweet.

Right JR because you have so much experience doing this, correct? :rolleyes: Tell ya what, dont crap on what works for me and others... You go support newegg, maybe even be polite and still take it in the ass for the obsurd pricing. Im sure they will place you on their xmas list.:slap:

i just jumped on the e6400 265 shipped from ewiz, should have jumped on it yesterday when it was 242 shipped :( oh well, i got everything just needed the cpu :D

Their a good etailer except when you need an RMA. They seem to really be sticking it to ZZF, Monarch and the Egg.

HeadShowWI I am pretty sure Newegg enver had the 6600's in stock (when it first showed up it was out of stock), the 6700's however were in stock at 1 point. Hoping for stock later tonight or tomorrow (and better pricing) or maybe the local microcenter will get retail chips in this week.
