I got the Nikon 35mm F/1.8G today, I'm loving it already. Here's a picture I took of a friend of mine, he's posing for some sort of instructional poster for a local university, something about lab safety. :p:

Elisha, I love those colors. I need to start trying something similar.
Eaglerock, I got a lens with the same aperture as yours, I'm loving the depth of field on mine already.
Bentleya, excellent detail.
Musso, nice hardware. Would be nice if you could post a higher resolution version of that. :)
Marin, I love half finished buildings and building sites in general. They're building a house next to mine right now and I'm just waiting for the perfect moment to go shoot some pictures.

thanks mate. you need to view all my pics on a colour space aware browser or else they look a bit dull. i use AdobeRGB1998 colour space for all my pics so they only look the way it was intended to look on Firefox 3.5 or Safari. Chrome and IE make it look a little dull with bland colours.

I'm kinda depressed from this cam.. sometimes it looks like it can't shoot clear images.. noise everywhere.. :( Dunno if lens change help.. (helped it with Lightroom..:) )
I have to say, personally I like the first one better. The second one, while vivid, kinda hurts my eyes a bit with the brightness/contrast...at least with the dress. :P
If the brightness was down a tad, it would be better, methinks.
Here's my pic of the day, I really need to develop my new photos.
