I talked to the guys at Fry's, looks like E6600 coming in 8/10. I believe Outpost.com is shipping them the following monday. There are plenty of options available by next week so let see if the egg learn its lesson from today.

I want a e6300 for my office rig, but want to spend max 209, no CA tax and free shipping. So I'm on the hunt!
For a Retail E6600?Quote:

But from where I sit, it looks like they misrepresented the chips as being "in stock" when they really weren't, and are trying to avoid any communication with customers.Quote:

Tell me about it lol, every resellers are on the west coast. I have no choice either way but I rather find one with the best return/refund policies.Quote:

I was actually fairly impressed with them. Ordered a 6700 around 5ish EST on Friday and by the time I got home from work had a tracking number.
That being said I suspect they had everything but the 6600's in stock, but couldnt say for certain.
Any chance for e6600 to emerge sometime this weeket, retail version.
im very dissapointed in CLubit. I get a phone call 30 min ago (7:50 EST) from fernando telling me that there is a "problem" with my order. he said intel never sent them the retail E6600's and they only have oems... BS. he said he can give me a $10 discount and drop the overnight shipping fee they charged me. i told him ill take it. $329 for an E6600 OEM with overnight shipping. i guess its not so bad...
Yeah i saw this review a while ago, but... i thought he was being sarcastic  or is just stupid?, i dont get it.Quote:

Mine supposedly ships on the 10th. 3 day turnaround time is no good in my book >:(

I contacted them through their.. online contact thing. Asked if they *actually* had stock, and if I ordered, when it would ship. Will update when I hear back (if).
$329/free overnight for an OEM e6600 is a great deal...Quote:
