My AW9DMax made it into the top 10 with a score of 14793, E6700 10 x 4350

Any idea if they are fixing the PCIe frequency adjustment? Please tell them we need that especially forQuote:

i REALLY want to keep this board but the board is limiting my overclock.
i just got a p5b deluxe and i can run 9 x 423 ~ 3.8 vs. 10 x 379 ~ 3.79 on my abit board.
when i up the FSB to 380, the board will blue screen when running orthos for a few hours...
but the 975x board is DEFINITELY faster.
ABIT PLEASE GIVE US A GOOD BIOS.... WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER!!!
:) :) :)
I am also a former owner of a P5B deluxe. Now the question is are you really that much happier with that board over the aw9d-max.Quote:

personally i really have a bug for the AW9D-Max but my 6400 would top out way too fast. if i got to to 450fsb i could run my 24/7 clocks on it...

Tell them what you got,I did a long long typing.
Well. I am happy with the P5B but the Abit board is faster clock for clock.Quote:

3.75 is pretty much max stable on the aw9d board.
3.80 and rising on the p5b at 8 x 475 vs. only 10 x 375 on the 975x board.
it's a big difference in FSB.
I'll wait until the end of the year for the "soo long waited bios".
After that it's bye bye ABIT. Welcome 680i.
I really like this board but .. :hrhr:
the board cant run quad core ,even that they say will do
maybe at the end of 2007 a bios will be released to support actualy something, or maybe to make it "stable" whithout haveing insane voltage?? who know....
I just became much more happy with my board. Whenever I would disconnect power I would lose my OC settings. I thought it was a BIOS issue because other setting would stay, just OC would be lost. I didnt think it was the battery but after looking back in this thread, It was the battery! I dont know how I missed that one :slapass:
My phase unit is set up to disconnect the power supply when I shut down the PC. It was getting really annoying having to re-enter OC settings EVERYTIME I turned on the PC, but its fixed :) :) :)
Sometimes the system would not boot correctly cause of a dead battery, of course that took me a couple of hours of hair pulling to figure out.
The current bioses are fine, both 1.2 and 1.3BQuote:

There is no perfect platform yet. Theres always going to be someone unhappy with each.
680i is nothing but smoke and mirrors to me because I don't run sli. 965P has its purpose for the lower multi C2Ds. 975X should give most E6600s and up a fair chance at reaching 4ghz.
Now the question that people that are unhappy need to ask themselves is if its the board or their cpu that's the problem.
I've been looking at this board for a bit now. And I'm wondering, how different is the AW9D than the AW9D-Max? and is the Max worth the extra couple of dollars? I just want to ask a couple of people who have owned/used this motherboard.
thanks
Ha done that!Quote:

however, the dfi infinity with the new bios seems to be looking promising and it's CHEAP
depends where you are - the AW9D & the DFI Infinity 975X are the same price in the UK.Quote:
