I received my OEM 6700 from ClubIT right before I left for work. Ordered on Friday with overnight shipping. Just like was mentioned earlier, the chip came with a bundle of free blank DVD disks as a free gift. Still need to leak test my system tonight though, so no idea why I really did overnight shipping. =p

Time for me to go find that Donnie guy over at HardForum that wouldn't stop arguing with me about how the pricing structure for Core 2 Duo was going to be at launch and how it was going to be well over the "MSRP" at most retailers, especially Newegg. I knew when i saw how much Newegg priced the X6800 there was no hope for them to price the rest of the Core 2 Duo processors very low. Newegg is so large now that they can sell them at $100+ over other retailers just because people are dumb enough to pay.

In all honesty Clubit has been doing very well and is one of the few e-sellers shipping C2D in volume. I won't be to harsh with them unless there are other reasons. I prefer to call it 2 strikes and your out, policy.

So interesting... 8 hours after teh "monday morning release" prices are dropping already. Why?? Because stock will be available all week and people aren't buying at GOUGE pricing.
Watch ewiz.com CLOSELY... those guys POP specials at the oddest times and I wouldn't be surprised to see a e6300 sale at $199 any day now... cuz few want them. Their sales often just last like 8 hours.
