Argh can't find info on CCB1E stepping anywhere! A google search shows one half-useful result was a thread on Anandtech where somebody bought a tray of CCB1E's, but no overclocks have been posted as of yet. Damn.
interesting steeping
there is some mention of these at Anandtech forum.......... Opty 165 CCB1E 0550VPMW

Nice batches and 2500$.
Wow that thread has so much spam clogging it up... I'm still deciding whether I should risk buying one of these chips rather than waiting to get a CCBWE. Don't wanna get one and find out it's a useless clocker. Hmm, is anyone else thinking about getting one?
just pester the thread creator there through PM to give you some results......and then decide i reckonQuote:

Also, core 0 is so much stronger than core 1. I could prime all day long with 1.35V @ 2.8 with core 0, but core 1 instantly fails

A big dumbass invitational over at anandtech right now, I guess. Seriously, smiley contest?
More seriously, damsxx, that's great. What watercooling parts you using? Anything special you did to sex up that chip?
I got a CCB1E on the way. I will let you guys know how they do.
A8N SLI-Deluxe
Thermaltake Big Typhoon
Hoping for 2.8ghz plus.
Here is some info at overclockers.

9x285 x 1.3vcore on a XP90, looks good. :)
I got one coming too... 360 is way too much though... I'm getting mine for 295 + 9.50 shipping...
Just upgraded!!
OMG, where? :(
Got an OEM Opteron 165 CCBWE 0546MPMW from Monarch today. Just started testing it: priming nicely at 2.7GHz and 1.45v.
Priming right now @3Ghz @1.54V. :slobber:
I want a screeny now please :slobber: :slobber: :DQuote:

If that's the volts SET in the BIOS (not reported) it's ok.Quote:

How did you get mbm5 to work with nf4? I see people using a colorful temp reporting program and want to use it, since SG doesn't report neg temps.Quote:
