Start by finding out who's inactive and ask if maybe they don't want their custom nick color and header.

well, not sure what you could say to her, but as far as the design or architecture of it...

how about the box, itself, somewhere not-in-the-garden, but a waterproof touchscreen and a waterproof membrane-like kb outside. have the kb slide out, when needed from under the touchscreen.

Actually i think Loonym is right if their not active for 6 mos then they don't need the custom color or titles. exceptions for those in the military active duty overseas, or serious illness, accidents ect...............I wonder how many crunch just for a short time just to get the custom colors and titles?

It's a touchy thing. I've had guys actually PM me and say they were sorry but they couldn't continue for $$ reasons.
Tough to get mad at someone and take away a title when in your mind it is these guys that have made a sacrifice to help that has built this team.
I tell them that when things get better for them we will be here and their chair at the table will still be ready for them.
Friends first, competitions and everything else follows that.

I don't think it's unreasonable to trim folk who just vapour off without a word to anybody, so long as it's made clear that the tags/colours are for ACTIVE (or those considered active) members.

Me too , but there are times one looks and says for the greater good I will shut up and let this one pass.
Lot's of reasons people drop out. Most is a money thing due to elec costs and I can understand that.
You get your AC running, your pool and then get your first $400.00 electric bill and do a Holy Sh*it, the Mrs. is going to remove the family jewels when she sees this one.:rofl:
OR you add your income for the month and come up 50-100 short and look for ways to cut back.
Hard to get upset with someone trying to make ends meet and since I never know that person that well I take the position of trying to be the understanding person.
This is voluntary and can't get upset at anyone for doing the best for their families based on their circumstances.
Now I do try and wait a month -2 before asking that colors and titles be given out to see if the person is really into this or not.
Most of the ones that just want the color don't have the stamina to do this that long and peter out after 1-2 weeks..:D
