Not bad, gives me something to shoot for..
Now if this funky flashing light memory will do 475 with a 9 multi on air maybe I can give you the needle..:stick::rofl:
What is the best FSB ram DIVIDER?
I can run in 5:6 ( 500 MHZ FSB : 600 MHZ ram ) stable with 2.05 vDIM, but i cant reach 650 stable ..

Use it in the Stacker 830 case and mounted it the BTX way.
Well i have to say the geminii is perfect cooling ram/chipset/southbridge/pwm/ cpu all in the same time.
Chipset will never go over 45'C
PWM will never go over 52'C
2x 120mm Delta's @ 5V and keeps everything nice cool and pretty silent
When needed with a push of a button they can run 12V and you will be deaf but the cpu will be cool :D
Been benching mine with the Kentsfield today. Will post screenshots later. So far it's outperforming my P5K Deluxe/B3 stepper :D
18,101 3DMark06 at 3600 is promising...stock GFX.
@Oskar WU.........Please give us next Monster Bios geared towards Ram Performance:)
Hello guys,
I got my parts today for my new rig and I just finished installing the first stuff I'm going to need to the test run... well the problem is that when I turn on the pc it starts for like 2 sec... I see a C1 error on the motherboard ( DFI LP UT P35 T2R ) and like 2-3 seconds later the pc just shuts down...
I google'd the C1 error what it means and it come up something to do with the memory I got the ( CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) ). I try to remove one of the sticks and did not work... cleared the CMOS by:
1. Power-off the system and unpluging the power cord.
2. Set the pin and waited few seconds place it back...
3. Plugged the power cord back and power on the system...
Try'd again no luck... I try to switch the one ram stick to the 2nd, 3rd & 4rd slot and ty'd again... no luck always get the C1 error...
Also removed the power cable and removed the battery for like 20 min and cleared the cmos and try'd again... no luck again!
After I took a little research on the motherboard and I think it only supports 667 / 800 and I got a 1066. Could this be the problem I'm facing right now?
I placed a order yesterday on 2GB of DDR2 800 and 512MB of DDR2 667 ram sticks to test and see if that works.
By the way this is what I did so far.. placed the CPU (Q6600) on the motherboard, placed the motherboard in the case, some thermal paste, install'd the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler. Install'd the Power Supply, install'd the Ram (CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)) and video card after that... Next was the CD-ROM and HD... hook'd them all up.
Any help is gladly appreciated!
Thanks guys!
You're Ram should work fine in the Board or it may still not like Corsair Ram that could be because when we were on NF4 Corsair Ram was Notoriously Bad with any DFI Mobo.
Well the only thing that I have left is to wait for the new ram to get here and try to make it to the bios and update them? If I even get pass that C1 error do... If I was to update the bios do I have any change of using that memory?
Thanks!
You'll have to see! Did you get different brand like G-Skill or see what others were using successfully?
Never got the change to use it yet... I just build it like 2 days ago... never even got the the bios page... the corsairs were the memory I ordered so now I'm waiting on 2gb Crucial Ballistix's DDR2 800 and on 512MB Kingston DDR2 667. Should get here tomorrow. Is there anything else I might wanna try out to get this machine going?
Thanks!
I just flashed to the 1005 BETA BIOS from 913 after you lot got me all excited talking of extra bandwidth etc.
My board runs performs & benches exactly the same as 913 & has no extra bandwidth or lower latency so I reckon it is just a micro code update BIOS as after all
CN :)
I get same Ram Performance Exactly myself Craig:(
So far been able to Boot into the load screen at 4 ghz...something borked the controller and I had to start over.
Been running benches at 3900 though.
This is really the first time I've pushed this board hard...it responds well and rarely locks up.
If it ends up posting with one of the sticks you have on order, I suggest going into bios with them and changing the DIMM voltage to 2.2-2.3v, saving, then turning off and trying the dominators again.
While you're waiting for order you can try using 1 stick of the dominator stuff alone to see if you can get it to post. Try different slots as well.
Something in the Internal Ram Timing Clocks have been adjusted for sure! Same Exact settings in Bios as 9/13/07 Official and it Fails Blend in 23 minutes now! Going back into Bios and having a look see I Noticed that the Fine Clock Delay Values that were 14 / 13 are now 13 / 12 on the two primary top values:rolleyes:
You know JimmyZ ..I did not think to look but I had performance level set at Auto which defaulted it to Level 6 with this Ram so Just on a Hunch I think that may have been a different value than Level 6 at default:shrug: Will take a Poke and see waiting to see if it Fails Blend again!
