biggest waterchiller? Look in the chilled water section.. why dont you push the CPU furthermore insted of running it a low voltage at 2400mhz ?

my 2x512MB 3700EBs don't go more far then 240MHz with only 2.82V....but i told that all in my post....so, how i see, u didn't read it
(btw, the K8N of GigaByte doesn't let me configurate async-driving....there isn't any option, which allows me that :()
You are right:banana:Quote:

I read it very well actually but was thinking that you obviously knew that async option which has been mentioned about a 1000 times in this forum.. but obvious you didnt
try pressing ctrl + f1 in the bios ;)
So next time try thinking or asking twice before you´re giving people the rolleyes ;)
MAN, where that option came out ?! :D :D :D ;)
sorry :D :wierd:
ok, just w8 for results, will be back in a few moments :D
lol, there isn't any divider-options....
only one option, to set the max MEM-Clock @ 200MHz....but then, the HTT-clock is @ 200MHz fix too....
so, no way
download another bios ;) F9 version is what you want.. and the divider option is there ;) I´ve played with this board several times and owned the top end model k8nnxp so I know its there...
are u really sure ?
because, i've already the F10-Bios
bias_hjorth - i notice that macci also uses f9. is that because of better memory overclocking or bandwidth or 1t timing results or what?
edit: i just checked giga's website and no f9 available. you seen a copy somewhere?
yes the f9 is slighty faster cause of tighten timings:
http://s6.invisionfree.com/undercloc...hp?showtopic=5 <--- bios
ok, i flashed the F9-BIOS....but there still aren't divider :(
just @ "Max Memclock" are 2 new options called
"xxx1" and "xxx2" but dunno what they are :stick:
so, u had had the board....tell me something about it :D

*signs
flash to the newest officiel one and then flash back.. Cant show you dude.. look for uself
dude, i really don't know from which divider-option u r talkin about....
now i flashed the F11 official....now i can set CPC to 1T or 2T...nice....but there isn't ANY divider....
but with the F11 i can set the multi....BUT, the VDIMM-max decreased from "default+0.3V" to "+0.2"
so, i think, i'll flash the F9 from tictac again :-/
This is basically my highest stable FSB, 224 bye bye OS...
2620mhz (218x12) is faster though, but I like running these settings 24/7 b/c I can keep vcore under 1.65 and it gives me 33sec pi runs.
anything above 219fsb with a 12x is not stable.

Hmm.. my new 3000+ is an "AR" not "AX". Must be a Clawhammer CG with half the L2 cache disabled then?
Will take a picture tomorrow, and post.
It does 2500Mhz @ 1.65vcore on AIR. Stock cooler with TT 70mm fan @ 4500RPM.
Yes, a 3000+ AR is a clawhammer core with 512KB disabled cache.Quote:

Well just got my replacement 3000+ NC and doesnt go past 2.5ghz, even at 1.85V. My last one did 2.68ghz with 1.85 vcore  Maybe I'll try and break this one and get another  Whats a usual OC on a 3000+ NC?
