But there is something wrong with my board - already second kit does not make more than 675
So, let me get this straight.. your moaning because your DDR2 won't go faster than 1350MHz?
Yes :hitself:
Now I have tried 4 kits (2xBallistix, Extreem and Geil) - all the same. Maybe because of TPower. Does anybody have some good examples for 700+ for that board?
I'm using a TPower atm, and D9GKX. Its absolutely horrible IMO. My P5Q Pro can bust out 1300MHz, this TPower can only do 1200MHz
But it must be possible somehow - a lot of very high CPU-Z results are made and because of the 1:1 limitation, it has been done. I just can not find any screens with memset (sub-timings) shown ....
I customised the sub-timings on my GKX speed data directly, on the TPower it just doesn't matter for me. TPower = horrible memory support.
I scored another kit of D9GKX on ebay (old school Patriot 8500 2x1GB 5-5-5-9 timings in red packaging). Can't wait till they get here, gonna cook em with the UD3P and my X48 boards
i have question. my about my ocz pc2-8500 platinum's could they be d9's. i finally have a decent board to test them with. atm im at 1100 not a big jump i know.
i just raised them up to 1150 @ 2.2 in the bios. im using a p5k deluxe atm

whe3ls
Its probably not D9, maybe if you could do 1066 at CAS4.....
I got a set of OCZ Platinum PC6400 to 1100, and (and that was my first RAM overclock)
I think that they are actually just quite good sets of RAM......
:D
cas 4 was a no go. owell i have some d9 Dom in the mail
Yeah, unlucky with the OCZ, but im sure that they will still clock quite well at CAS5, I mean, 1150 CAS5 is still nice, :D
(My current RAM doesnt like running over 1000, :()
I need to get some good RAm, as Im hoping to bench subzwero later this yar, any reccomendations for some RAM which will clock, without breaking the bank, and available in the UK?
(quite a lot to ask to be honest)
Hmmmm,
Interesting, but still quite a lot of money tbh......
Im only 17, and cant afford a lot, (my parents dont want me to spend)
Im trying not to spend too much, but I would like a set which can do 1200, as Im hoping to go subzero over the summer with some DICE with my e7300, (and maybe your e4400, :P)
And so I need some RAM that can cope with those higher speeds, as well as just being awesome. :D
go on ebay and get some D9DCD's lol
well heres my new UT-P35-T2R and my crucial ballistic pc8000 16fd3 d9's,so far im impressed with both.

Sorry guys, i promised some oc-pics. of G.Skills pc8000HZ, and im have starting with the testing=)
A little teaser: 1300mhz on 5-5-5-15 on 2,26v ( sorry that i dont have pics now, but they will come. I know how much you love pics. )
I know, i was typing wrong:(
Its 2,26=)
I almost never use 2,6v, if i know for sure it is a point, of course i put 2,6 on:P.
i did a run on 1300 with 2,26 in 16M, but i will try 32M later tonight.
I had lots of things to do the last days, but i will drag my ass to the benchtable soon now.
stable @1080 4-4-4-12 with my DCD's

Whats the manufacture date on those?
Yeah, but what volts are you putting through them? :P
Probably around 2.2-2.4. anything over that micron die.. fast.
