I will chime in about the MSI board not being stable at "every day use Idle" Prime95 runs fine, Idle with nothing open causes no problems, but if I open up for instance outlook and leave it open, BOOM crash within 30 minutes.

K, nevermind, that doesnt work.
Just finished 2.8Ghz Prime 6h+ stable, like 1 minute messing around after I stopped it and BSOD:p:.
Now Priming 14.5x200. 15x200 froze at start up, but 14.5 doesnt. Priming not anymore for the 8h+, just a little while so I know that part is stable(ish).
Ill dig in the MSI+Phenom thread KTE, where you had some results noted (think it was you lol).
I'm trying to find a stability testing method which does work for Phenom since this problem can crop up on all MFG boards so far. Have not found anything yet apart from general usage first and foremost but I'm going to give PassMark Burn-In Test a try as it loads all the area's I need to check for stability running them against pre-determined calculation values. So, far easier to catch minor instability. ;)

Simply, I'll run it on a setting I know passes P95 but fails general stability and see if it can find error as well as running it at a setting completely in error for both P95/WISE and lastly for a setting that is known fully stable. WIll post results when I have 'em.
What of CoreTemp is that accurate?

OK so my nice new 9850BE has been running at stock doing AVI to MPEG2 conversions for most of the day, fast rock solid stable, RAM at 1066MHZ.

Next thing is to get my memory timings a bit tighter.

One thing I notice thats a definite with these Bios Release is that what will excel at Dual Core will yield different opinion and view on Phenom and vise versa I would Imagine:confused: I guess its a very fine line and Juggling match balancing the Bios work for K8 - K10:yepp:
yeah think so either, but besides temps, i don't think these biosses must decrease in x2 performance naturally if being optimised for phenom..
i think theres profiles for phenom and x2 cpu and they both mature in parallel?
but perhaps some global chipset settings will be on the phenom or x2 side...
hey Brother Esau is it possible to get the OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 FlexXLC to work at 1066mhz without that spd modification.
