Well did a bit of testing but there sure is something special about the 10/5 bios compared to the 9/13 and it got something to do with the memory bandwith :)
Tested 9/13 bandwith in everest -> 9300 Mb/s
Tested 10/5 bandwith in everest -> 10080 Mb/s
This is done with exactly the same settings nothing changed apart from a bios flash :D
I'm keeping the 10/5 thats for sure
oh yea huh:)
I'm gonna flash now be back soon.......Muuh hhahahhh:D
Hmmm.... What's the link for the 10/05 BIOS? I might as well give it a try
Thanks....
Just flashed the 10/05 bios via Windows, then in the middle of updating, the computer froze then suddenly reseted itself...now the Diagnostic LED shows C0 then C1 then stopped. Tried clearing CMOS & doing safe boot but nothing happens. Just C0 then C1 :( :( :(
What should i do????:confused: :( :( :(
I'm Back:welcome: ....Well Flash went good but for me in Sandra no change in memory performance not even by a :banana::banana::banana::banana: hair:( Too soon to say anything but will say whats what in a day or so:rolleyes:
Why do people continue to use that sh*t program Win Flash? I swear if I had $10.00 for every time I have heard this crap over and over again and every single incident always revolves around people Flashing from Windows!
Sorry Kid bad news for sure:( maybe after this you will spend $6.00 and buy a Floppy drive and never Flash From WINDOWS AGAIN.......:down:
sorry....so does that mean my board is dead? :(
Probably Yes! Pull the Battery and place Clear C'mos Jumper in Clear Postion for 24 hrs // Replace in reverse order after 24hrs and use only a PS2 Keyboard Upon Power on Hold the Insert and Home Key down and maybe you may get lucky and it will clear it up!
And try with just 1 memory stick.
Whoops yea that too almost forgots....up wait I did forgets:D
along with doing battery/jumper, i suggest unplugging the power supply to totally cut power to the board. that method seems to revive the board from tons of bad stuff but im not sure about bad bios flashes :(
all you can do is try:rolleyes:
I am assuming that goes without saying but better safe than sorry I suppose:rolleyes:
Worst Case scenario you will have to buy a Bios Chip Flashed with 9/13/07 and replace the old one with the new But you will need a Bios Chip extractor tool along with the new chip. Don't contact DFI cuz you are on Beta Buddy and you know what that means.
Bios is good so far! Heres a Suicide Run and too bad I'm a Starving White Man cuz Daddy needs some Water Cooling:eek:
2MB SuperPi:D
So its better than 913 ?:)
Kinda hard to say Figuring this Board out is like opening a 3 lock Pandoras Box:D
First time I have gotten frisky with this chip got it up to 4170 and it BSOD:D Giddy Up!!!!:cord: So I am thinking with Phase Change and the desire to Blow Sh*t Up:D it will do beyond 4.1GHZ::bsod:
